How many parents would believe their thirteen year old son who told them that two vampires and a hooded stranger had tried to abduct him? Along the way, they learn that the Caretakers have been here since the beginning of human history and have played a key role in shaping human lore. In their world, vampires, werewolves, trolls, and even Medusa herself really do exist but have been kept hidden from the human world around them. Ethan is the key as they ultimately discover the Grimleavers true intentions, to unlock the four portals to the elemental worlds of the Chrysalis.

Edwin Wolfe is a Sacramento native who was a principal engineer for twenty-five years. He started writing poetry and song lyrics at the age of thirteen. His talent evolved over the years, writing satirical sports columns. He owes much of his writing ability to his mother, who taught Language Arts and Creative Writing for more than thirty-eight years. He holds a bachelor's and master's degree in Engineering. Wolfe lives with his wife in Santana Row in San Jose, California where he is at work on future Chrysalis Chronicles books.
