The Sword of Liberty

While engaged in anti-terror operations, John Laurens is called to the island of St. Croix, for the execution of a secret will. Attached to the summons he finds the tale of an ancient sword, carried into battle by liberty's greatest heroes—among them, an American icon. Laurens is shocked to find himself identified as the only remaining descendant of that legendary patriot. As such, he is tasked with leading America back from the edge of a government-induced economic collapse, by retrieving the sword and revealing the knowledge on which our nation was founded. Dark forces within the establishment learn of his charge and attempt to silence him. In between tactical ops, Laurens pens a series of groundbreaking articles that reveal the stories of the Roman and Athenian people who fought and overcame corrupt governments. Inspired by these reformational feats, the American people attempt to seize destiny from the federal government, precipitating an epic political showdown whose outcome will determine the fate of America.
