Brian’s literary journey began in jail. No, he wasn’t incarcerated; he was employed. As a deputy, after all the little criminals drifted off to sleep, he’d guzzle caffeinated beverages and write. Eventually, this novel gasped, rose and stumbled to life. Brian and his family live on a couch, on the Salt Flats, near the Great Salt Lake. Like most families, they have their ups and downs, but the couch is comfortable, so Brian doesn’t complain.
