And never more so than when he sets out to attract the attention of his dream girl, Italian art student and book lover, Melba.
It’s love at first swipe for Linus when she walks into the library, orders Don Quixote, and wipes toothpaste off his face. But without the paste on his cheek, he may as well be invisible for her. It takes all of Linus’ limited courage to make her notice him. And when she finally does, she is not the only one. Someone wants Linus out of the way. And that someone stops at nothing.
No amount of fiction could have ever prepared Linus for the madcap chain of events that propel him from zero to hero to wanted—mostly dead.
His wits will get him only so far. To survive, never mind get the girl, Linus needs to find the one thing he’s never had: courage.
Or maybe he just needs to run faster than everybody else.
