Do you know a child interested in the creatures that make up the beautiful coral reefs? This beautiful book explains some of the more popular creatures of reefs, their special qualities, and how they get food or protect themselves from becoming food. I found this book to be very educational as well as accessible for a child. I also thought the illustrations showing how full reefs are were a wonderful way to help children understand that these creatures all live together, and sometimes even on top of each other in the bustling ecosystem of reefs.
