Description

Darnell Jenkins is handsome, confident, and charismatic. Everyone around him loves and respects him. He’s spent years perfecting his image, presenting the person he wants people to think he is, rather than the man he truly is. Even his wife and children are blind to his ingenuity. One slip and his perfect persona will come crashing down around his feet. And what do you know? He slips and the consequences would be detrimental if he didn’t already have a defense in place… blame someone else. Blame the person that no one really likes and won’t lose anything… well, except for her respect, dignity, friendships, and possibly her sobriety. But her loss is nothing compared to him losing his future. Right? A Lie Don’t Care….

Darnell Jenkins is handsome, confident, and charismatic. Everyone around him loves and respects him. He’s spent years perfecting his image, presenting the person he wants people to think he is...

Wow, this is a page turner. Anyone who has ever been to a church has met the people within these pages. People that are real, a sheep in wolf's clothing, judgmental, honest and just trying to do their best in life. I almost cannot call A Lie Doesn't Tell a Christian book due to a a few graphic sex scenes; however, the book is almost entiely set within the walls of a church.
This story did not turn out at all how I thought it would, but the ending is what would probably happen if this was a true story. I would love a second book to expand on the epilogue.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher and Netgalley.
