Ben Freeman is just an ordinary boy from the New Forest… Or so he believes until one day whilst on a camping trip, he stumbles into another dimension; a strange and dark world called the Shadow Realm.

Ravaged by a magical war, the few surviving residents eke out a pitiful existence, living under the oppressive regime of the evil Lord Blackwood.

In an effort to understand what the Shadow Realm is, and why he can travel there, Ben convinces his friends to go with him, so they can see this ghostly world for themselves. What they find there pitches them into the middle of an inter-dimensional war, sparking an urgent and desperate battle to save not only themselves, but also our own world from complete annihilation.
