Description
A child. A doorstep. A secret. Another secret. A lot of money. Awesome powers.
300 years down the road, the world is near utopic. Populations are thick, technology reigns supreme, diseases are eradicated, and people visit the moon. And on top of that, rumors of individuals with amazing powers aren’t rumors at all.
The ‘rumor’ known as Creese Battier is cadoodles more amazing than any tabloid has deemed him and has been that way ever since he was a mere infant. He is by far, the strongest kid in history. He is what the people call…an ultra.
Powered human beings of immense abilities. Blessed. Cursed. Indifferentiated. Who use their powers as any human would use their powers…like a human. Helping and using integrity or manipulating and seizing control. A clandestine Facility and its multi-faceted fleet of personnel believe teen Creese and other ultras hold the key to something much greater and direct them towards that goal…not sure what that goal is but evil has its own goals.
Welcome to the world of Ultracore. Itza phn coi!
Technology matches the 24th century.
Phone calls are holograms, along with 3viDeos that look near real life, electricity is free, and children use old waterways as automatic skate parks zooming in the breeze. Where the ground is magnetic + video screens that serve as ad space beneath their wheels. And the smart machines that deliver goods, actual items directly to people, in moments changed the planet.

This was a great start to the Ultracore series, it had what I wanted from a scifi series. It was a great concept for a scifi series and I enjoyed the universe and getting to know it. The characters worked with what I wanted and were wonderfully written. I look forward to more in this series and from this author.
“Es is right. The slightly stuff does get people in trouble. That’s why I slapped CeCee. She said ‘Damn, I slightly missed it,’ after she shot her gum toward the trash can and it went in my hair.” Limit starts laughing followed by DJ, Obi and Digit. Adrienne just smiles with a “Wow.”
