For my pleasure, my head is usually into romance novels but this book was a drastic but pleasant surprise. I found myself not wanting to put the book down. It had me intrigued from the first few paragraphs. I wanted to know how everything was going to unfold. The action was dead on, it had its comedic moments, and the sibling rivalry was realistic.Bottom line, coming from a person that's never really paid attention to Sci-Fi, action, comic type books...THIS IS PRETTY GOOD!! Definitely recommend. Fun read!

This is the author's first book, and I was frankly surprised by the number of original sci-fi ideas that were packed into this exciting novel. The book grabs you from the first few pages, and doesn't let go. It is a quick read, primarily because you are dying to see what happens next.

I would recommend this book to anyone who loves a rollicking-good actioner with strong sci-fi and action hero elements in it. The lead is a satisfyingly strong and intelligent female with a dense backstory. You will be left wanting a sequel for sure!
