All women and men of faith, whether they realize it or not, exist inside a paradox. Each night they pray to a God who they know to be in control of all things and perfectly good. It would not be unreasonable to fall asleep with the hope the night would bring no further blight upon His creation. Yet each morning they wake to find evil’s scars anew.
