One doctor and one nurse remain at Merewood Hospital.

Since the disappearance of Nurse Taplin the previous year, locals believe the hospital is cursed. And when another unnatural death occurs on Midsummer’s Eve of 1919, it looks like they could be right.

Sister Helen Hopgood is desperate to find new places for the remaining wounded soldiers so they can close the hospital – but Dr Samuel Bingham seems reluctant to let the five men go.
