Description

Would one ever truly know if Christ has returned in human form to walk the earth? Perhaps he comes back often. If he did would he stay for just moments, months, or a lifetime? In the beginning of 1927, an unwed mother became pregnant in the city of Berlin, Germany. She later married and together with her husband they raised a boy, Simon, in an atmosphere of love and compassion until 1944 when, while in hiding at the home of a high ranking German officer, a clandestine meeting with a prominent German businessman and American banker to possibly end World War II is unearthed by a callous colonel in the SD, a ruthless arm of the famed SS.

But before the treasonous parties are exposed by the Nazis, the young man Simon has an affair with the daughter of the American banker, who eventually escapes Europe and returns to the United States, while the Rothstein Family, Simon and his parents, are arrested by the SD. While in custody, Simon touches the heart and soul of the arresting Colonel, allowing him and his family to forego execution and be sent to the Theresienstadt Ghetto in Czechoslovakia instead. However, contrary to the powerful colonel’s wishes, Simon is transported to a world designed to systematically obliterate an entire race. A world of unimaginable atrocities that will haunt mankind forever. The world of Auschwitz.

During his stay he learns of his unearthly abilities to cure, console, bestow hope, and grant insight to foes and friends alike, producing a special bond with three men, two of whom are fellow prisoners and one German major with a particular affinity for his assignment. To each he offers a prophecy telling of the American girl he fell in love with. It is a divination concerning his lineage until Judgment Day.

With many turns and twists the story takes us on a journey beginning in pre war Germany, with stops in South America, Europe, Asia, and America. The pieces begin to fall into place in the San Francisco Bay Area, during the Vietnam War, when the daughter of Simon and the American girl marries into a successful family of Italian heritage with links to organized crime.

She, as well as others, are guided by Simon and his canine not only through appearances, but in their dreams as well, until 1972 when, after much love, life, death, and heartbreaking loss, Simon’s prediction from nearly three decades earlier is about to come to fruition. Or is it?

With origins dating back to war time Germany, Czechoslovakia, and Auschwitz, alliances are renewed, all believing in the prophecy.

In this first installment of three, find out what Simon Says and who or what is being born that all would risk their own lives to either kill or save?
