Mel Torrefranca started writing a book when she was ten years old. Although she abandoned it, the characters never stopped haunting her. In late 2023, nearly a decade later, Torrefranca published that same childhood story—freshly rewritten—as NIGHTSHADE ACADEMY, the first BELLADONNA book.
