Bio: Allison Pomenta is an editor and children’s author. She served as a Curator of Educational Exhibitions, where she pioneered hands-on exhibitions for children, at a large fine arts museum. Her knowledge about designing interactive experiences to spur audience participation through sight, sound, and touch is one of the main reasons why she decided to develop a storybook app.

A lifelong fan of children’s books and media, Pomenta also worked as a freelancer for several years editing, writing, and translating for the U.S. bilingual textbook industry, before she completed an M.A. in Publishing. She then went on to create her own publishing projects for children. Pomenta is bilingual, speaking both English and Spanish.
