Jenna Beatrice is a mother, author, lawyer, party planner, clipboard-user, and cookie-baker. Her debut picture book, The Loud Librarian, illustrated by Erika Lynne Jones, was called a “storytime favorite” by the Horn Book and voted by students across the US for the Children’s Book Council’s 2024 Favorites Award. Annabel Tempest is the illustrator of numerous picture books and board books, including Sadie Sprocket Builds a Rocket, written by Sue Fliess, which was a finalist for the South Carolina Book Award and a Golden Duck Science Fiction Notable Picture Book. She holds a degree in fashion and textiles and has worked as a freelance illustrator on everything from maps and packaging to greeting cards and children’s books.
