Finding Lost - Season Five

When Lost premiered in September 2004, it was an immediate critical and commercial success. The show, about a group of people who have crashed onto an island, took the typical Robinson Crusoe idea and turned it on its head. For one, the island wasn’t deserted, but was inhabited by various people who posed a threat to the survivors. And there were polar bears in the jungle. By season two, the weird got weirder, as a scientific organization became connected to the island and the survivors discovered a man living in a bunker under the island hitting a button on a computer every 108 minutes to “save the world.” By season three, the mystery deepened as some of the survivors were captured by the island’s inhabitants, now known as the Others, and the line between good guys and bad guys became murky. The brilliant season four was the turning point of the show, where the survivors split themselves into two groups and the outside world invaded the island.

Now, in season five, some of the survivors have been rescued, and others were left behind. The island has “moved.” And those who got away? They’re coming back.
