Description
Does love have limits? Is it the span of suffering and capability of the heart of a human being to hold joy and absorb pain? Charlie and Beth have experienced the limits of love. They believed they foolishly ate the Fruit of Knowledge in the Garden of Eden.
Their garden was on the plains of an unnamed Africa and they were not alone in it. They were the first self-aware human beings, parented by a species which was not fully human. Charlie and Beth possess the ability to carry experiences and knowledge from one life into the next.
They have travelled up the human lines into modern times. We meet Charlie and Beth for one day on Christmas Eve. These voyagers on the planet Earth are being hunted by the servants of a playful God. Even though the situation which has entangled Charlie and Beth is a game, it is deadly and many will die before it is over.
They receive limited assistance from another God in this game of life and death. Beth is pulled into the 1990’s to assist a young Charlie. Can Charlie and Beth live through Christmas Eve? Will their strength and will to live be strong enough to survive an army of homeless possessed people? Can a suicidal taxi driver and carton obsessed stoners end Charlie and Beth’s night in a fiery hell?
There is almost no limit to the craziness a God can find to throw at them on this Christmas Eve. Charlie and Beth may possess the experiences of thousands of lifetimes, but is that enough when you foe is a God? Beth has been killed one time already this night and Charlie is only a little girl. Their opponent is playful, but a God can be relentless. Can Charlie and Beth overcome the will of a God?
