"I was just instantly enthralled with this story. The writing styling is gripping first-person present-tense and the voice is instantly appealing. The story opens seductively and then, when you’re comfortable, you get your heart ripped straight the hell out. It’s painful, but in a good vicious way.

The story's strength lies in the narrator’s voice. Jess is someone who is immensely likeable and she speaks in a manner that is genuine and engaging, but more than anything, she is entertaining, even when she is making you cry.
