Java Waters Run Deep is a Peter Talbert aviation mystery story set a few years into the future. In the immediate aftermath, the terrorist group, ISIS claims that it put a bomb on the plane but Peter Talbert and UK accident investigator, Mary French, do not believe the story. Talbert suspects military involvement and aided by the Australian 'beyond the horizon radar', JORN, he manages to establish what actually happened. However after the preliminary accident report is issued, Mary discovers that a very important Russian dissident and his family had been on board the aircraft, adding another puzzling dimension to the story.
