I loved the interactions with the all the characters in this story. They were very real, and each had a distinct personality. Charlie was a true hero, and embodies all of the characteristics that represent what a reader hungers for in a leading male. There was also plenty of surprises along the way, to keep the story moving. The reunion between the two main characters, and the ending of the book, will have you reaching for the Kleenex.
Excellent debut novel, by a promising new writer. I will be looking forward to future releases from this author. Well done, Lizzy Roberts!
