She initiates a project to develop the device in Japan, but is being pursued by Tony, a pathological killer working for MI5, a man who has hated Grace since their college days. The Epsilon Twistor is a spy thriller, with the fate of the Earth at stake. At a deeper level, it is a study of scientific creativity and psychosis.

A Note From the Publisher

Martin Smalley is the author of dozens of scientific research articles and a book on Clay Swelling and Colloid Stability (CRC Press, 2006). He was a popular physics teacher at the University of York in the 2010s, and his lectures on Electromagnetism and Optics have had over 100,000 views on YouTube. He can read all the G7 languages, and co-founded a translation company. He is an avid reader, who has loved spy thrillers since his teenage days. The Epsilon Twistor is his second novel.
