A graduate in English and French literature, he is a retired journalist who spent 17 years as a sub-editor on the Sunday Express and Daily Mail and an ex-therapist. He is a member of Exeter Arts Society, poetry groups in the UK and US, and the Ramblers Association. His interests include psychology, philosophy, sports and playing keyboard. He lives in Devon, UK.
