No sweat! That was in the past. Nowadays, life at the bloks is swell. The kabares are full, the müzes are open, and the woodka vouchers duly arrive every week. Citizens have every reason to believe the golden days of yore are once more right around the corner. Seemingly everyone is content.

All but a single human.

Osman is flailing—if not outright failing. Having lost his mother to kanser, and subsequently his job to depression, he is a shadow of his former self.

And it is at this very moment that two souls from above—Tom and Vas—arrive at the capital Topkapı. They bear a message—and an offer—for humanity: a cure to kanser, which continues to devastate the descendants of the Great Catastrophe's survivors.

But first a very small task: No murders for twenty-four hours.

Do humans have the collective restraint to grab this unique opportunity? Or will we make the same mistakes as before? Is the instinct to kill as ingrained in our genetic code as the instinct to live?
