About the Author:
Kiara Valdez is an Afro-Dominican writer and graphic novel editor from New York City (shout out to Washington Heights). Her published work includes Marvel's Little Groot, Big Feelings and We Are Groot (both with Wendy Tan), and Dino Ranch: Blitz Breaks Loos (with Shane Clester). She spends her free time reading, writing, and enjoying a long list of other hobbies she can't keep up with.

About the Illustrator:
A graphic designer graduated from UBA (University of Buenos Aires), specialized in character design, comic books, editorial illustration, and product design for licensed characters. Additionally, he has worked on illustrated books and has published comic books as both an illustrator and writer, focusing on superhero, gender, and diversity themes. He is a university professor of Typography, an assistant professor of Editorial Illustration, and he teaches seminars on graphic mascots and character design in the Graphic Design program. He also teaches workshops in the Professional Illustration Postgraduate program (FADU/UBA).
