About the Author:
Is Bryan Patrick Avery a time traveler from the future? He says no, but he loves to dream about what life might be like decades from now! Bryan is also an award-winning poet and author of more than thirty books for children. These books include two early chapter book series, Mr. Grizley’s Class and Milo Gray’s Imagination Adventures, as well as the collective biography Black Men in Science. Bryan lives in Northern California with his family. 

About the Illustrator:
Vincent Batignole trained at the École Pivaut in Nantes, France. His professional journey started in 2005 with the comic series GloomCookie, created by Serena Valentino (Disney’s Villains book series) and Ted Naifeh (Courtney Crumrin). Since then, he’s been illustrating and writing for various international clients while earning a Master’s Degree in cinema history and film analysis. He currently lives in Paris, surrounded by what’s easily one of the biggest collections of manga drawn by CLAMP.
