Karen King is a nepo baby who is also exceptionally good at her job spinning new truths at her father's lobbying firm. While at a conference with their big oil client, people associated with both companies are kidnapped, including Karen’s boyfriend, Johnny. Karen wants to cooperate with police, but both her client and her father have stolen evidence. Karen is trapped between playing the role her father gave her and saving Johnny.
