Chastity 'Chase' Temple isn't fond of domesticity or permanence. She's an expert on survival and enjoys her freedom in the Sierra Nevada, and is less than pleased when she's called back to Independence to lead a wagon train to Oregon Territory. She expects it to be a difficult journey. She doesn't expect Mara and Ari.
