Description

Adam and Eve rebelled and became unfit to be in G-d’s presence. Tragically, they went to live in a broken world, our world. Fortunately, G-d’s forgiveness is greater than our sin, and He has a plan to rescue us.

In The Esa, we will examine G-d’s plan as it is laid out in the Bible. The centerpiece of His plan is the coming of the Messiah. The question is: Was Jesus the prophesied Messiah?

We will also study G-d’s role for the Jews in the ancient world and Jesus’ mission for the Church following His death. Finally, we will consider the wondrous outcomes of G-d’s plan as they are laid out in Daniel 9:24. For, at the end of history, G-d will rescue us and bring us back to Eden.

The Esa is for Jewish people who want to know the truth about Jesus. It is also good for Christians who want to learn about the Tanakh, or Old Testament.

In this series, we are testing Jesus' claim that the Old Testament is all about Him. It is not necessary to read the first two books in the series in order to read The Esa. A different aspect of the Old Testament is explored in each book to see if it foreshadows or predicts Jesus.
