Description
An adventure, a love story, a young woman coming of age and claiming her rightful power
In this science-fiction epic journey, a long-lost princess, a mariner, and a sentient ship battle intergalactic intrigue in a quest for love, self-determination, and to save their planet from a deadly cyber-virus.
The Princess: Taken from the planet as a small child, the Princess has little knowledge of her true identity as queen—Fenria’s hereditary administrator for a planet-wide neural net. This neural net brings together AI, robots, and human components in a compound entity that monitors and terraforms the Planet Fenria.
The Mariner: Although once a part of the neural net, the Mariner's implant was burned out following a pandemic that decimated the Seaguard—those with implants who serve the network. He grieves his loss of connection to the planet-wide consciousness.
The Ship: An avatar of the network, the Ship thinks she owns the Mariner and the Princess. She wants her beloved and essential components to be happy and to produce replacements.
Enter a world of matriarchs and pirates, high-tech fishing and hydrogen-powered boats. A world where ships grow in giant eggs and think for themselves. A world that cares for its oceans and its human children.
