Description

I am an NHS consultant and I have recently published The Theory of Us: The Final Diagnosis of the Human Species.

The text applies the rigour of the medical method—history, examination, and diagnosis—to humanity's collective trajectory. Drawing on evolutionary biology, neuroscience, and macro-history, it argues that our self-destructive societal patterns spring from a fundamental deterministic flaw in our evolutionary source code.

Essentially, the book explores the trajectory of our species as driven by genetic imperatives in a largely deterministic universe. In the absence of an intervening external arbiter, it examines how we might navigate systemic threats—particularly the immense challenges posed by AI—and introduces a Civilisational Early Warning Score (C-EWS) to actively monitor our prognosis.

Since its release, the work has been reviewed and substantively supported by the UK medical community, receiving peer feedback from nine NHS Consultants and a Professor. They have highlighted its clinical grounding and its accessible, urgent framework for understanding human nature today.
