Description
If ‘trouble magnet’ isn’t already an official title, it should be—because Fiadh is out here living it like it’s a full-time job.
The second she steps into Faerie and spots Revelin’s ridiculously extra Magical Mystery Bus, she should’ve turned around—fortunately for us, she does not. Now she’s stuck on a tour with Fae court concerts, dangerous magical artifacts, and enough buried secrets to make the whole damn bus smell like bad decisions.
The deeper they go, the messier it gets—and this trip was already hanging on by a thread.
Then there’s her love life, which is somehow even less stable than the rest of this chaos. She’s trying to trust a broken-hearted vampire Dom, a lethal basilisk gang leader, a cinnamon roll snow leopard who deserves hazard pay, and a spoiled royal Fae who treats causing problems like it’s his divine purpose. Nobody’s chill, everybody’s hot, and patience is in very short supply.
***
‘Waxing Gibbous’ brings black cat FMC energy, found family with bite, fated mates, ancient vampire problems, a basilisk twin with very specific perks, and a Faerie road trip that keeps swerving straight into disaster. There’s marking, mating, mythos, kink, steam, piercings, tattoos, and villains who absolutely get what’s coming to them. The world gets bigger, the danger gets sharper, and the relationships keep simmering while everything threatens to go straight to hell.
This is the relaunch of Book Three in the ‘Children of the Moon’ series—and it’s coming back to stir up trouble before Books Five and Six hit later this year.
Advance Praise
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ What's not to love about this wonderous read? It's filled with magic, sarcasm, hot magical alpha males, magical intrigue, adventure galore, political intrigue, mystery, a dash of family drama, and of course a magical rock and roll tour! Overall, one EXCITING journey that our FMC and her mates take the reader on. The world building is phenomenal...it's so rich, colorful and layered. These characters will immediately draw you in. Our fearless FMC Fiadh is such a bright light. She's witty, sarcastic as all get out, resilient, protective of those she cares for, fierce, and flat out A-MAY-ZING! She *will* fight for what is hers....so ya better watch out. The journey our wonderful crew is on opens their eyes to a few things, and takes us on a twisty turny journey of shadows and reveals. I loved every moment of this read! Two very enthusiastic thumbs up.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ While writing this review, I suddenly realized that describing this book, the story might start to sound a bit... eclectic. Our fmc Fiadh travels through fae lands in a magic tourbus, accompanied by a rockstar prince, a mafia shifter man, a shifter bodyguard and an ancient vampire. There's a quest involved, a tour, a fight club, some women who never learned that girls always should support each other, danger, suspense... and a pixie that reminds me of Tinkerbell. Honestly, only Cassandra Featherstone can combine all those things and make it make sense. Add some of her known puns to the storyline, and you're once again in for a fun ride. I had moments I couldn't keep in a snort while reading this book, while other parts held me at the edge of my seat or made me swoon. Being on the road together really creates the feeling of family for Fiadh and her men, and I love the way they all fit together.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This is one hell of an adventure! Brimming with magic, intrigue and drama, this is an exciting read that captures and enthrals as we embark on this magical rock and roll touristy tour! Our FMC Fiadh is strong, witty and sassy and her journey through Faerie with her guys is thrilling and they continue to bond and we do get a little spice and steam thrown in. A secret quest is under way that’s dangerous and mysterious and some secrets are revealed but we still have a lot of unanswered questions. It’s fun read and the world building is so beautiful and descriptive and lures you in and I thoroughly enjoyed this.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Waxing Gibbous brings us right back into it focusing on MFC Fiadh! While book 2 gave us more of a deeper understanding of Feray, book 3 is all Fiadh. We really get an adventure in this book as we travel throughout this ever expanding world. I am entranced by the world! Fi and her men are growing ever closer, which I am always a fan of romance. I was also surprised how goofy and fun this book was giving readers tons of laugh out loud moments through the serious undertone. I mean, it really was a hoot traveling on a magic tourbus with so many different characters! There is still so much to explore and so many mysteries still left to unearth, so I look forward to continuing the Children of the Moon!
