The Woman. 
She runs through a dark alley with no idea why. She catches the person she's been hunting and drives a knife into them. The moment she sees the face on the ground, she wakes up screaming. It was her mother. It was only a dream. But relief does not last. She wakes in a gray cell, walled on all sides. On a cold iron bed, her wrists and ankles are locked in handcuffs. The harder she fights to break free, the deeper the metal cuts into her flesh.

The Man. 
He wakes in a luxurious room where everything is perfectly white. Soft bedding, blinding light, a beautiful woman lying beside him. The room is unfamiliar. So is the woman. Did he drink too much and black out? The moment he tries to reach for his past, a blinding pain tears through his skull — and the harder he reaches, the sharper the agony becomes. Until he realizes this sweet heaven is an exquisitely designed cage, he is smiling.

From their separate prisons, they escape into the same night. In each other, they find the only witness to what they cannot remember. All they share is a single name: Hope Hospital.
