Twenty years ago a teenage girl walked into a police station dressed in a bloody hospital gown with no recollection of her name or what happened to her.

With no clue to her origins, she was given a new name, Jane, and a life. Now, the remains of a body surface in a Long Island pond and Jane knows she must go to the police and tell them that she has remembered parts of that night.

But as the truth about her past starts to come to light, Jane realises it was possibly best not to know who she was after all. Now the clock is ticking for her to get to the truth before the police do and others, who will go to protect old secrets.
