Matthew is a young artist, living hand-to-mouth and dreaming of a life out of reach. Oska is a new girl in town, her history obscure. Slowly their relationship grows, chance encounters at first, then deeper, closer, till one day Oska makes Matthew an offer, a startling offer, one that could answer all his dreams. But there’s a catch... make that several catches.

Way Out is an offbeat story tracing the dance of love and friendship, with twists and turns and a vein of dry humour. It’s a slow-moving, character-driven tale whose main character is somewhat of an anti-hero, just doing his best to get by. The settings may change dramatically, but the essence of the story remains the same: living from day to day, negotiating relationships, looking for work that is deeply fulfilling, and dealing with whatever life throws at you along the way.
