Description

Galen Miller presents a collection of golf stories that include the good, the bad, and the ugly. Her stories range from triumphs to defeats but overall, they reveal how we are all connected by our love of the game.

Male golfers welcomed her into their game, most of the time, but not all. Tournament play frequently ended with disqualification. A golf dating website helped her find men to play golf with as she drove 2000 miles from Florida to Canada. And a few lifelong friendships sprang from introductions on the first tee.

A Note From the Publisher

Galen Miller, growing up in Philadelphia, never held a golf club until she was in college. Twenty-five years later she wrote The Little Book of Golf Etiquette. Although her lifelong work has been horse related, golf has been instrumental for her in building relationships and achieving success in her Orlando business, Arabian Nights Dinner Attraction, a show that ran for 25 years across from Walt Disney World. Now, returning to writing, she presents stories she has compiled over five decades of playing golf. She has teed it up on three continents with beginners, men, women, children, golf pros, and business prospects. She now lives near Pinehurst North Carolina doing playing lessons, speaking engagements, and writing more of her insights into the greatest game of all.
