What can be more contentious then relationship between a mother and a daughter? This book is written in two parts, the first by Lindsay the mother and the second by Angelique the daughter. Just when you think Lindsay is a real bitch, the switch flips and you can totally identify with her struggles with family and life choices. Seeing the family and it’s drama through Angel’s eyes will make you evaluate your own sibling and parental relationships in life.

I loved this book from start to finish. I became reacquainted with the Love brothers and the changes in their lives that have them turning into honorable men. Meeting Angel on a different level was enlightening, heartbreaking and endearing in equal measure. If you like a book with the “feels”, this is the book for you.

from an ARC reviewer:
Oh. My. God!! Talk about having a book hangover on its way! I've been a fan of this series but didn't expect anything as emotional as what was delivered in Family Love. The feels it brought out, the tears that were pulled from me and the heartache I felt. Liz Crowe delivered something much more intense than I could have imagined.

To see the relationship between Lindsey and Anton spark and flourish as young adults from different cultures and lifestyles was a huge treat for me. Sure we meet them throughout the the stories for each of the Love brothers, but to see them fall in love and and battle the hurdles that plague most young couples, when it comes to married life, children and money struggles gave me such a new perspective and an understanding of who they are and why they were the way they were with their children.

Aside from seeing the start of a legacy that is the Love Family, we see their only daughter, and youngest of the brood, Angelique as she struggles with finding herself. Her strained relationship with her mother is only just the tip of the iceberg for this girl. She bounces from bad decision to bad decision throughout her life as some sort of way to prove she can do it on her own. Her desire to stay as far away from her mother and the family drama keeps her distant from the family over a stretch of years but health scares, and family secrets keep pulling her back into the fold no matter how resistant she is to it all. Her family loyalty and obligations are even stronger than her stubbornness.

I have to say, there were moments that I actually fought back the urge to just put my kindle down and BOO HOO. It was those small shared family moments that really pulled at my heart strings.

from a blogger/reviewer:
From the very beginning, Liz Crowe has been spinning a tale to bring us to this epic ending that is Family Love. The story of how both parents met and eventually fell in love is finally revealed when Aiden publishes his first novel but fails to see how it'll impact the frail relationships that were mended in the last installments of the Love Brother novels. Family Love hits the mark on what it means to end a series with a bang - when I picked up the novel, I never expected the twists, the turns and especially, never the emotional rollercoaster I felt knowing that Lindsay was estranged from her only daughter Angelique [that being a mother myself to a wonderful headstrong daughter]. Separated into two parts, the first from Lindsay's point of view and the second from Angelique's, we finally come full circle and get the answers we had to our questions at the end of Love Brewing. Quite frankly, this is one ending [to a series] that should be remembered - it left me speechless. Even as I write my review, I find myself struggling to put to words everything I've felt, all the thoughts that screamed through my head and the exuberance I felt at the ending that I couldn't have asked for better. What more can I truly say? Other than adding this series to your to be read list, and mentioning that Liz Crowe is an author worthy to be followed, not only on facebook or amazon, but truly followed and added to your to be watched list, which is what I have done since the very beginning of the Love Brother series.
