When life falls apart, it’s hard to see anything good being formed in the wreckage. You’re invited to stay and trust that God is still at work.

Through raw storytelling, biblical truth, and hard-won hope, Kytanna McFarlin invites readers into the deeply personal moments where God began reshaping her life. Drawing on the timeless image of the potter and the clay, she gives language to a kind of suffering many experience but struggle to understand. She doesn’t offer easy answers or a neat worksheet for fixing your life. Instead, Made Over walks honestly through the breaking, the waiting, the pressure, and the slow, sacred process of being remade. With transparency and courage, Kytanna shares her journey of surrender—one that began in despair, marked by scarcity, shame, and even a season of homelessness. Yet through every moment, God was at work. With Scripture as her foundation and story as her guide, Kytanna is a trustworthy companion who can help you recognize God’s presence in unexpected places and trust his timing when it feels painfully slow. You are not abandoned. The Potter is still working. And what feels like ruin may be where his most beautiful work begins.
