Sunday Times bestselling author David McCloskey delivers a darkly satirical thriller aboard a luxury cruise, where a writer contends with his billionaire uncle’s whims and the dangers they court.

Elliott Adams is a struggling writer. His uncle Otto just acquired a discounted superyacht. It’s not hard to recognize the disparities. Even so, Elliott accepts an invitation to join the family on a cruise, hoping for inspiration. What he gets is attacked by kamikaze drones, when the Russian oligarch and previous yacht owner returns for the priceless cargo he left there … if Otto’s willing to give it up.

David McCloskey’s Hunting Gods is part of Pursuit, a gripping collection of short stories that explore what it means to be predator and prey … and what it takes to gain the upper hand. Read or listen to each pulse-pounding story in a single sitting—and an intense adrenaline rush.
