This is one of the few MMA books I've enjoyed, it has an edge to it that isn't found in many romance books, let alone one that features a young female character. I liked that the author didn't change Gabbi when she met and fell for Hooligan. She kept her strong, determined and fiercely protective. It was great to see a female character not turn into a defenseless puddle of need giving control of her life to the man. Hooligan is awesome! His story is tragic, I hope the characters call out to the author to write more of his backstory. I would love to know more about him and his first love. ~Amazon Reviewer

Emotional, heartbreaking, pull you into the story writing. That is just some of the worlds that come to mind when trying to write this review. This book had me so high on my emotions that I had to take a few days to write the review. Not only are the main character's strong and amazing, the secondary characters are on the same level.
