This was a bit of a struggle. I couldn’t really connect with the characters, they felt a little one dimensional to me and some repetitiveness which bogged the story down a bit. A lot of characters thrown at me was kind of hard to keep track at first. At the same time, the overall story line wasn’t bad, I could feel where the author was going and the message she is conveying. The struggles of working a ranch is depicted well and how a community will combine to help each other no matter what their beliefs is heartwarming. A good story, I would’ve liked more.
