I love how Erin has taken the Geek Culture and made it super sexy. Having married a geek myself, I know just how romantic and fun this "clique" can be. And the Opposites Attract series plays up on all of that and more. Maya is bold. She knows what she wants and goes after it. She doesn't let the things that have happened to her, bring her down. I mean, come on, she's a superhero expert!! Alex will steal you heart from the very beginning. The way he is with his daughter... swoon. Nothing better in a book that a sexy dad who loves his kid. Alex and Maya bring out the best in each other. They work through their struggles but help each other the way a true partnership should. A beautiful book about love and acceptance. If you love a little geek in your life, then you will enjoy this series and especially Forever Mine.

"What is it about you? You're under my skin. We just met."
"I know. Me too. You too."
I. Loved. This. Story!!!
I was so excited for this book because I really liked Maya in Completely Yours. I was interested in learning more about her and her story.
It was wonderful!!
Maya is fierce and a force to be reckoned with. She is daring and goes for what she wants.
She's an amazing life coach for not only kids, but adults. Being a superhero expert who happens to own a martial arts studio...she's pretty awesome.
When Alex first saw her, he knew his life was about to change forever. There was just something about her...and it wasn't just the tight, purple outfit she wore;)
She was different. She was just what he needed...in many ways.
"I can't spend a bunch of time alone with you."
"It's been all innocent."
"I don't want it to be innocent. I want to come back tomorrow night. And stay longer. And do the same thing the next night. And the next."
"I'm free."
"I'm not. At least, I shouldn't be."
This story had so many different levels. Each character had wonderful personalities, but all struggles within.
Both Maya and Alex brought out the best within each other.
They strived to make the other realize their potential. It was beautiful to watch it all unfold.
"I think I could lose every nerve ending in my whole body and still feel you touching me."
I can't write this review without talking about the little girl who stole the show...Charli.
Alex's daughter was so full of life, but she was dealt a tough card in life. She couldn't do the things other kids could do.
That just made Alex work harder to show his daughter what all she could accomplish.
He gets Dad of the Year from me!!
He was incredible!!
Can I also talk about all the superhero love within this book?!
It made my nerdy heart so happy!!!!
"The strongest people aren't the ones who've never gotten hurt or taken a fall. They're the ones who get back up and keep loving because they know love, even for a short time, is better than no love."
This was a beautiful story about love, strength, and acceptance.
This was also a great insight into hemophilia and the struggles that people with it face everyday.
I enjoys Erin's books so much because they are so real and relatable.
You can find yourself, or someone you know, in her characters.
I hope there will be more within this series because I need more!!! :)
"You know what I would most like you to dress up as?"
"What?"
"Just you."
"Just me?"
"Yes, Alex. You. That's what I want."

I am a huge fan of geeky, quirky characters and this book delivers them in the best way!!
I love the premise of this book because it was unique and tackled a subject I've never encountered in a book. I'm all about learning new things while I'm slowly falling in love with characters and their story.
From the very start of the story you can practically see the sparks flying between Maya and Alex, but very quickly understand Alex's hesitancy to get involved because of the timing. I adore how straight forward he and May were about their attraction for each other and the flirty banter between them even as you see Alex struggling to give in. I enjoyed the slow-burning but honest pace of their developing relationship.
I'm thankful that Maya was the strong, confident female that she was, even though she had a tendency to push herself too far and too hard. It was refreshing to see Alex as the vulnerable one who was trying to balance his feelings for Maya and his dedication to his daughter, Charli. There is nothing hotter than seeing a dad not just step up to take care of his kid, but to see him push above and beyond to connect with her.
However, it was that same dedication and need to make up for lost time that also had him keeping secrets and not allowing himself to really open up to Maya. There was a couple of times where I wanted to jump into the book and shake Alex for being so secretive to everyone and for not speaking up, it would have saved him, and Maya, a lot of grief.
The secondary characters added another level of awesome to this story and helped me feel invested in, not just Maya and Alex's romance, but the whole circle of friends.
Erin Nicholas is a fairly new author to me but her writing is flawless and really sucks you in to the story. I was lost in a world of superheroes and secrets and didn't want to leave.
I didn't read the first book in this series but I definitely one-clicked it as soon as I finished this one and I can wait to see what's next for this group of quirky friends.

Maya Goodwin has always lived her life on the edge and without fear for the consequences. When an injury to her arm forced her to give up her job as a police officer Maya took a job teaching martial arts to children. It’s at her job that Maya first meets Alex Nolan when he shows up looking to learn more about the arts.
Not too long ago Alex got the surprise of his life, he is the father to an eight year old girl and now he is making it his mission to make up for the lost time in her life. Alex however shares one unfortunate trait with his young daughter, they are both hemophiliacs which puts them both at risk with any injury. Meeting the daring Maya makes Alex question whether this adventurous woman would fit into his and his daughter’s lives.
Forever Mine is the second book in the Opposites Attract series by Erin Nicholas. One thing I will say about this series is the author does a wonderful job with her characters and giving them personalities that while opposite of each other I just can’t help but like both of them and root for them to get their happily ever afters with each other.
As with the first book in the series Maya is a bit of a geek with all of her knowledge of the super heroes that Alex’s daughter is obsessed with. This knowledge is what brings the couple together but as serious as Alex is and as adventurous as Maya is the pair just seemed to grow together quite nicely and overcame the obstacles involved in a realistic manor.
Overall, definitely a romance series that has this reader hooked with great characters and situations. Looking forward to more to come in the Opposites Attract series.
I received an advance copy from the publisher via NetGalley.
My rating 5/5 stars!

I enjoyed the previous book in this series and how the author made geeky look so sexy and enticing but I think she has outdone herself with this one. FOREVER MINE is a celebration of relationships - between a man and a woman, between a parent and a child, between friends, between co-parents - and was so heartwarming and uplifting.
Nothing could be cuter than a father trying to connect with his daughter by learning the things that she loves and that's what makes Alex Nolan such a sweet father. Alex was not aware that he had a daughter until she was nine, but he is determined to make up for lost time and if learning martial arts and geeky stuff is the way to get to know her, then he's game. But being attracted to the teacher was not a part of the plan because he can't afford the distraction she is and her zest for life would completely suck him in against his better instincts.
Maya Goodwin gives her all every time and even though it cost her her job as a cop, she has channeled that energy into her martial arts studio for kids. Helping Alex learn stuff that would appeal to his daughter is also for her because she enjoys being with him and wants to explore the chemistry between them.
On the surface Alex and Maya seem to be very different, but they are really not. They both are selfless givers, willing to go the extra mile for others. They're both also overly hard on themselves and unwilling to accept any limitations. The only difference between them is that Maya is an open book and holds nothing back while Alex is shut down like a bank vault, with reason I might add.
Did this story move at the pace I wanted it to? No, but Alex impressed me by taking his time to think things through and make the choices that would benefit his daughter. Another thing I enjoyed was that he and his ex had a solid relationship where they could co-parent successfully without drama and recriminations.
This was a very enjoyable read, with entertaining moments and little drama that left me with a huge smile on my face. This is only my second book from Ms. Nicholas, but she has become an auto-read for me now.

Forever Mine is the second book in the Opposites Attract series by Erin Nicholas. I have been a die hard fan of Erin's for a while now, and I was SURE that Completely Yours (book 1) could not be topped, but of course, Erin Nicholas definitely proved me wrong AGAIN.
Maya and Alex's book was FAN-FREAKING-TASTIC. This book was so much fun to read, from start to finish. Maya and Alex are two new favorite characters of mine for sure.
Her books flow so effortlessly, while making you laugh, cry, and even learn little along the way. Hemophilia is addressed in the book, which is something that I really had no knowledge on prior to the book. Yet, when I finished, I was left with some more knowledge and understanding of it.
The characters are all truly likeable, relatable people, that when you finish, you feel like you actually could be friends with them (I actually wanted to know them for real). Couldn't put this one down! As always, cannot wait to see what is in store next in this series, but honestly, I'll read anything that Erin chooses to release at this point!

Avid Reader – ☆☆☆☆
M/F Romance
Maya is amazing. She's strong, brave, and stubborn. Not only does she not let the fact that she was "benched" from the police department get her down, she started an entirely new venture with friends and now teaches kids how to defend themselves, all while playing! Maya is attracted to Alex instantly – so instantly, that she keeps getting injured because she can't focus. I really liked Maya's spirit and her ability to see past what most can't – she was able to get to the bottom of Alex even when he didn't want her to.
Alex is somewhat annoying for me. He is what I would consider a non-risk taker, despite his condition. He has just met his daughter – a daughter he didn't know existed. That makes his situation stressful, which I understand, but I also really hated how he compartmentalized his life.
When it came right down to it, Alex was unwilling to alter his life for Maya and that broke my heart for her. I even shed a tear for her when things were at their worst.
I won't tell you everything that transpired, but despite their chemistry, Alex was kind of a dummy in this book. However, all ends well and I really wish we could have seen further into the future.

This is the second book in the series and a real treat. We get to see friends made in the first story, and it is Maya, the feisty ex-cop's turn to experience love and romance.
There is a lot to commend this book – it deals with a number of difficult issues, but also a couple of very simple ones. Alex has been compartmentalising his life and keeping safe, until he sees Maya and immediately recognises the attraction and the danger. He seemingly cannot forget her, nor release himself from the boundaries he has set. Maya refuses to be limited by her injury, and pushes herself to pain to feel alive. Somehow the chemistry between them demands that they take into account the views of the other... and it is fascinating watching on. Add in the superhero obsessed daughter, Charli, and a very enjoyable read is created.
A most entertaining and absorbing read, thank you Ms. Nicholas.

I just didn’t love this story. I liked the characters and the writing is great, but the story just didn’t flow well for me.
Maya Goodwin is an ex-cop turned martial arts, fitness, superhero teacher. Her goal in life is to help children build their self-esteem and fit in. Alex Nolan is a pediatrician who specializes in hemophilia research, a blood disease that both he and his daughter (whom he just recently found out about) suffer from. Hemophilia is a blood disorder that causes you to have extreme bleeding if injured. Alex spends the bulk of his time spending time with his 9-year-old daughter, getting to know her. He doesn’t have time for much else, but when Maya comes into his life he can’t help but make time.
I think the thing that kept this from being a great story for me is Maya’s job. It’s very confusing and I just didn’t find it realistic. I did really like both Maya’s and Alex’s characters though and the other characters are pretty great, too – especially Maya’s friends!

I'm always on the lookout for books featuring smart heroines. The Opposites Attract series is about a trio of Lady Nerds, each with their own geeky interest. Each book stands on its own so you can read them in any order you want. Forever Mine is Maya's story.
Maya is all about cosplay, martial arts, and super heroes. I could care less about these things- much like Alex- but Maya's enthusiasm is contagious. She's spunky and passionate about her interests, as well as the people she loves. She initiates most of her relationship with Alex- she's someone who goes after what she wants- and this sets up an interesting, not always good, dynamic in their relationship.
Alex is an enigma. He's brilliant in his field as a hematologist but refuses to tell his colleagues or anyone else he has hemophilia himself. His mom overshared this information when he was a child and so he's swung in the opposite direction. (Is this possible?Wouldn't he have worn a medical bracelet or something along those lines in case of emergency?) When he finds out a) he has a 9 year old daughter from a one-night stand and b) she has hemophilia, he goes above and beyond to make up for not being there for her sooner. Alex is a truly good guy. He is loyal and funny and tries to do what's right.
He thinks he shouldn't start a relationship because of his daughter but he has a hard time resisting Maya, especially when she's teaching him martial arts which he can then modify for his daughter and she's schooling him on his daughter's favorite superheroes. It's a really great set up for the story and I loved seeing Maya shine as an instructor and Alex's dedication to his daughter. They have wonderful chemistry together and I loved how their very different interests are brought them together in the first place. It was so fun watching their relationship grow!
Maya's friendship with Sophie and Kiera still plays a big role, as it did in the first book. These girls have been through a lot together and there's great growth that happens because of their friendship. I'm so happy whenever female friendship plays a big role in a novel because it's true to my life and most people I know.
Hemophilia is such an interesting illness to spotlight. Definitely a great choice. Because I used to be a pediatric oncology/hematology social worker, I had a few quibbles with the medical aspects of his storyline. Having the same diagnosis as the population you treat is a major boon and I couldn't understand why he wouldn't disclose it to his patients. I also wish the interdisciplinary pediatric team had been highlighted. At least by the end he understands the areas where he needs to grow as a doctor.
One geek plus one doctor equals a sweet, enjoyable story of opposites who attract. I'm looking forward to Sophie's story next!

One of my favorite things about Erin Nicholas’ Opposites Attract series, is that the heroines are straight up geeks. And I mean that in the best way possible. It’s a fun and refreshing spin on romance.
Maya and Alex meet when Alex comes to one of Maya’s classes. Maya is a martial artist instructor for kids. She makes her classes fun by incorporating super heroes. After Maya got hurt with her last job in law enforcement, she thought this would deb a good way to stay in shape and still help.
Dr. Alex Nolan needs all the help he can get when it comes to super heroes. You see, his 10 year old daughter who he just recently found out about is obsessed with them. Maya is just the woman he needs. She can teach him all about the super heroes that impress his daughter so much.
Alex and Maya’s friendship is there, but the attraction between them burns the pages from the very beginning. Alex may not know if he’s ready for a relationship, but it’s apparent that these two are hot for each other from the start. I loved watching their back and forth and seeing their chemistry flourish. There were many sweet moments, fun times, and all around geeky goodness in this book.
I loved the dynamic of Maya and her friends. I even liked the Alex/Charlie/Rachel dynamic. Alex irked me a few times, but I got where he was coming with when it came to his daughter. I spent my time reading this with a big smile on my face, rooting for these two characters to be together.
If you’re looking for a fast, fun, and sweet read, this is one I would recommend!

I enjoyed this title but I wasn't happy with the hero in many ways. I liked him... I just didn't like him... yeah I know this is a direct contradiction but you'll see...
Alex is trying to make up for not being in his daughter's life for her first 9 years through no fault of his own. He had a one night stand and the mom didn't tell him until she needed help managing the disease that both he and his daughter have, hemophilia. He's reeling by this intense attraction he feels for the woman who might be able to help him understand the superhero universe his daughter loves. He wants to be there for his daughter and perhaps try for something with his former fling but this attraction to this woman is hard to ignore.
Maya is just as thrown by her instant attraction and connection to Alex. This attraction allows her to get distracted in the oddest moments but as with everything else she does... she rolls with it and jumps in. She's not afraid to take risks but is also confused by his hot/cold routine. I liked her and her openness as it was refreshing compared to Alex's tendency to keep things compartmentalized. She also has a wake-up call in this story as she has to confront her own tendency to do things without regard to long term consequences. You'll enjoy her personality and what she does for those she cares for. I really liked her so the way Alex behaved pissed me off even as I liked him.
Alex has a lot to learn about life as he doesn't share his own diagnosis of hemophilia and this hinders him in so many ways he didn't realize. He almost lost something important to him because he is so damn shut down. This is why I say I liked him but... I just didn't like him... I got it... I really did but I wanted to just hurt him many times in this book. Maya deserved better than the way he treated her but as always the hero does wake up and I think the epilogue helped me come to terms with him. He did try but dammit he made me mad... LOL
I need to go back and read more by Erin as I enjoyed this one plus... she's sort of local for me. Gotta try to support NE/IA writers as much as I can... ;-)

Sweet, charming, and heartwarming!!! Erin Nicholas once again has caught my attention with her newest release, Forever Mine which happens to be a beautiful feel good love story between a single dad and his daughter’s martial arts teacher.
With palpable chemistry and charming characters, Nicholas allowed her readers to feel the love and connection that was brewing between Alex and Maya. When Alex needed all the help he can get with his daughter’s fascination with superheroes, Maya came to the rescue. What started off as friendship soon led to a budding attraction between the two. And in such, Nicholas created a story that was sweet, innocent, and fresh.
I absolutely adore this smart geeky romance because there was just something so refreshing about it. There was no major angst or drama but instead a story about two real strangers developing a friendship that turned into romance. So if you are looking for a romance that was light and beautifully well written then I highly suggest you read this book. Erin Nicholas comes to the rescue as she delivers a charming story that will fill your heart with lots of love and superheroes.

This is book 2 in the Opposites Attract series and it features Dr. Alex Nolan and Maya Goodwin. First let me say that these two are COMPLETE opposites. She's an "all in" kind of woman and he's a "stop and think" kind of man. I adored the romance and as long as they kept to the superhero/fantasy stuff, they were good. For Alex, trying to lead two different lives was a train wreck waiting to happen and I didn't like how he ultimately treated Maya. No pun intended but she got the short end of the stick and forgave WAY too easy. I just want to say that Maya is such an upbeat person that when she was sad, it actually brought tears to my eyes.
I think this author dealt with hemophilia brilliantly! At certain points I think I was more involved in the medical condition than the romance. Fantastic story!

Maya Goodwin is a risk taker. She’s working through a severe injury that forced her to retire from the police department—Maya’s no desk jockey! As a martial arts teacher, Maya discovers she really enjoys this new facet of her life. She’s able to still get into some crazy antics with demonstrations and sparring with her friend and instructors and she’s looking toward the future, as long as she can stop staring at one devilishly handsome Alex Nolan.
Alex is just trying to catch up with the whirlwind that is now his life. The recent discovery that he has a nine year old daughter has Alex trying to learn all the “things”—including things like super heroes, comic book characters and all the other likes that his daughter loves. Alex finds that he just can’t stay away from Maya and her crazy spontaneous ways. He’s finding that the more time he spends with her, he wants more. Alex is trying to make up for lost time in his daughter’s life but also make himself happy too. Will Mr. Play It Safe realize love is worth the risk?
Superhero martial arts? Where in the hell can I sign up? God, I would have loved to have had something like this class for my daughter when she was younger. I loved Maya. Loved her. She is the epitome of strong, smart and sexy. She’s a woman all little girls and boys can emulate—hell, some adults should take notes on how she deals with people. I loved her interactions with all the kids. So damn cute. And don’t get me started on how awesome her group of friends is! I fell in love with them in Completely Yours and was thrilled to catch up with the group in Forever Mine!
I also adored Alex. God, the man just found out that he’s a dad to a nine year old girl and he’s doing everything and anything he can to prove that he loves her and is a good, no make that great dad. He’s doing an amazing job getting to know his daughter and be involved in her life—almost to the detriment of his own happiness. I found myself wanting to hug him and hit him at times, but I just loved him even more. Sigh. When’s the next book in the Opposites Attract series releasing, I want to be first in line to read it!

BLURB

REVIEW
Geeky, romantic goodness!
Both of the main characters, Maya and Alex are heroes in their own right. Maya an ex-cop who was hurt on the job and Alex is a doctor treating hemophiliac patients. I have to say Alex made my ovaries sigh. He was just all around awesome, getting to know and learn to relate to his newly discovered daughter, a doctor, and just a stand-up guy. I did want to smack him around a couple of times when he was he was being stupid and keeping the wall up between him and Maya. They are super sexy, sweet and fun as a couple and very entertaining to read.
This is the second book in the series and though you do not need to read them in order you should because they are great books. The book is fun, sweet and sexy and excellently written.

*I voluntarily read an advance reader copy of this book provided by the publisher.*

The super sisters are back and more geeky and badass than ever! Forever Mine by Erin Nicholas is a great addition to the Opposites Attract series. Maya and Alex's story is funny and sweet with just the right amount of heat!
I loved Maya. She's tough, kind, caring, and loyal. Everything she did for Alex and Charlie was admirable. I respect the hell out her character. And Alex, he's sweet and sexy--if a little bit obtuse. And to be honest, he's the reason this book was only 4-star read for me. There were a couple instances where I just couldn't bring myself to like him--or I guess I should say, I couldn't understand him making the same silly choice multiple times. It seemed unnecessary and only annoyed me. But don't let that sway you because the good definitely outweighs the bad!! He's really just trying to be a good father to the daughter he didn't know he had for the last 10 years. The lengths he goes to to learn about the various superheroes' origin stories, etc. is adorable. I admired how the author realistically portrayed the ups and downs of becoming a modern family.
Ultimately, together, Maya and Alex are adorable and sweet. While their romance is light-hearted, you can tell the emotions run deep. And I loved the flashes we got of Keira, Zach, Sophie, and friends. I hope we continue to get more because I just love this gang so much! Seriously can't wait for the next one!

I absolutely loved the first book in this series and I was totally intrigued by Maya and Sophie. I was so excited to read Maya's story, the open book, go all out friend that was introduced in the first book. Even though this is the second book in the series, it can definitely be read as a standalone (but book one was amazing so you should definitely read that too!!).
After a significant injury, Maya had to leave the police force. Now she teaches martial arts and helps kids figure out what characteristics they want to build by using superheroes to accomplish that. Maya doesn't let her limitations from her injury limit her. She lives life to the fullest every day. Alex recently learned about his nine year old daughter and is trying to find a way to connect with her. Given her obsession with comics and a certain superhero movie series, he meets Maya and tries to learn everything he can about the world his daughter is obsessed with. From the moment they see each other, the connection is undeniable. But Maya and Alex are opposites in almost every way so can they be more than just chemistry?
I love the interactions between Maya and Alex. Maya's ramblings and Alex's constant questions kept me laughing for a lot of this book. On the surface, they are opposites but not in the ways that it really matter. They are both very protective of their loved ones, super smart, and passionate. I couldn't put this book down once I started but I never wanted it to end. I am very much looking forward to the next book in this series!!
*This is my voluntary review of an advanced reader copy*

Loved it! Maya is so cool, an ex-cop who now runs a martial arts school and Alex is a doctor who is looking for something for his daughter he just found out he had to do. Sexy, funny and totally adorable.

I have such mad love for this book. Maya, Alex, Charli, heck the whole bunch of them. Erin does an exceptional job of not only giving us a brilliant, romantic story, she also educates us on a serious disease that I bet many people know very little about.
The love and devotion Alex has for Charli is abundantly clear. I love how he goes above and beyond to learn all he can about her likes and interests, wanting to make sure they form a tight bond since he wasn’t even told he had a daughter until she was 9! I was worried there was going to be some serious issues with Rachel. I’m so glad things went as smoothly as they did.
I absolutely love Maya. Former cop, martial arts and weapons expert, all things comic and cosplay guru all wrapped up in the spitfire that is Maya. Even though she has an injury from her time on the force, she doesn’t let that get her down. Granted, she pushed herself beyond the limits at times, but she is determined to get back to 100%, no matter what anyone says. When she researched hemophilia, all because she found out about Charli’s condition - that was beyond touching and heart-warming.
Holy hotness batman - the chemistry between Maya and Alex is instant, electric, and off-the-charts! Even though Alex tries to resist the connection at first because Charli has to come first, there is no way these two can control the pull to be together. Alex is a little hesitant because she is 100% all go, all action, whereas he is more reserved and cautious. Maya brings out a playful and freeing side in Alex and Alex helps Maya see that sometimes there are limits and limitations. He makes her feel things she has never felt - heart, mind, and soul. She makes him see life is for living - not always hiding in a bubble.
The emotions are all here and you will feel every one. The writing is perfect, the characters are well-developed, the conversations are fluid and real. Such an amazing read you do not want to pass up!

Forever Mine continues the Opposite Attract series by Erin Nicholas. Erin has written a wonderful story about an ex-cop turned martial arts instructor and a cautious conscientious doctor… who have a chemistry that is off the charts.
Maya has left the police force and is now teaching martial arts classes. She is part of the gaming world and loves to dress up and lives life with an all-out attitude. Alex is a doctor who has just recently discovered he has a daughter who shares a common bond beyond their familial one… they are both hemophiliacs. He lives his life more cautiously due to his disease but is intrigued by the gaming world his daughter is a part of.
Alex wants to protect his daughter at all costs but Charli wants to live her life to the fullest and loves superheroes and Galactic Renegades. After encountering Maya at a demonstration at a local mall, he wants to get to know her better and sees it as an opportunity to share something with his daughter. Maya is more than willing to help him out and as they spend time together, the old adage that opposites attract plays out.
As per usual for Erin, this is a well written story that is sensitive to the concerns of a parent dealing with their child and a chronic illness. It can be read as a stand-alone but characters from the previous book make appearances so you may want to read the first book as well. I enjoyed this book and would recommend it without hesitation.

Wow.
This was such a good story. Loved Maya and Alex and what happens--beautiful characterization, excellent plotting and storytelling, great secondary characters... There is a meet cute but then the story really takes off and what I'm coming to truly appreciate is that Erin Nicholas not only writes the charming flirty moments and the heat, she also keeps it real and we also see the tough choices and uncomfortable feelings and the pressures of relationships and life. And she does it in a way that gives hope and inspiration for our own difficult times. We can see how honesty and vulnerability and trust are worth the effort and bring lasting rewards and that behaving like a grown up can really pay off. Put on those big girl / big boy undies and face down your challenges!
Maya and Alex definitely are coming from opposite backgrounds. Maya's all-in, pedal-to-the-metal attitude both fascinates and alarms Alex, whose life is far more carefully controlled. Their mutual attraction is undeniable though, and they find much to appreciate and learn from each other.
Naturally adjustments have to be made though, and the beauty is all in how their relationship unfolds. Ms Nicholas does this so wonderfully. This one's a keeper, and I trust that the next book to come will be as well. I can't wait!
