I love this story as I got more into it. Wondering what would happen next. The struggles Emma has to go through and where Ryan is always by her side and still faces his own. Friends and family means a lot to both.

Oh how I loved Emma and Ryan! I love a good friends to lovers book and Crazy for You is full of flirty, sexy, adventure and fun.
Emma and Ryan have known each other for years. Ryan was Emma's brother Derek's best friend and she can hardly remember a time that Ryan wasn't in her life. Ryan made a promise to always watch over Emma for Derek. And when Derek didn't come home from his last mission in Afghanistan, Ryan really felt like it was his place to be Emma's protector. But when was it was Emma stopped being the little tomboy that followed them around like a little puppy and turned into this sexy woman that was flirty with him at the bar?
Emma is tired of living a "boring" life. So when her friend dare her to step out of her comfort zone and flirt with the first guy to wipe the ketchup they placed on her cheek, away, she never expected it to the Ryan. And why not try and flirt with the sexy friend of her brother. She'd had a crush on him for as long as she can remember and he was the total opposite of any guy she had ever dated in the past. But can she convince Ryan to take a chance on them and step out of this ridiculous promise he made her brother years ago?
Emma is full of fire and ready to challenge Ryan. And Ryan is sweet and honorable and just as turned on my the aspect of being with Emma. These two together are fun and hot and everything you look for in a good hero/heroine in a book. There banter is free and flirty since they've known each other all their lives and the taboo of being with your brother's friend give the book the right kind of spice to make you giddy at their evolution of becoming more than friends.
Although this book is part of a series, it can be read as a standalone. I will definitely be going back and reading the rest in the series and can't wait for book four!

Ryan and Emma were childhood friends. Ryan was Emma’s brother’s best friend who swore to protect and keep his hands off her when his friend enlisted. Emma’s brother never made it back home. Emma’s always loved Ryan, but has grown weary of trying to make him really see her. She’s working at a landscape architecture firm and finally in a position where she can pursue her dream of going to college. Ryan was a foster kid who grew up separate from his younger brother. He and two friends from foster care long ago formed their own family and now own an adventure business together. Emma and Ryan see each other constantly and eventually give in and decide that they can’t fight their attraction anymore.
This is a cute romance with a host of characters who are relatable and supportive of one another. Emma is the quintessential good girl, and as Emma's friend Mandy said, "Ryan Blake is a sheep in wolf's clothing. He's a gentleman at heart." Who wouldn't want a sexy sorta bad guy, who's really just a sweetheart with muscles? A relationship between Ryan and Emma is a no-brainer and their path to HEA is a nice way to spend a few hours.
I received an ARC of this book, via Net Galley, in exchange for a fair and honest review.

I really liked and enjoyed this book. Really a great series so far, super hooked and can't wait for more.

CRAZY FOR YOU is my favorite story in this series so far! There is a very cozy feeling to this series with the small town setting and the close knit group of friends. This book encompasses all that by bringing a friends to lovers trope and mixing it with a best friends sister. Ryan is known as a bad boy. His best friend, and Emma’s brother, died years ago while serving in the military and Ryan has never felt comfortable looking at Emma in any way as a woman. Her teenage crush on him, however, pushes her to take a bet from her friends to live on the wild side for a bit before moving away from town. Ryan just fits that bill.
I love friends to lovers stories and you could tell there was a great connection between Emma and Ryan from the very beginning. They’ve grown up around each other and care for each other deeply. Seeing their feelings change, allowing for their physical attraction to come into play was a lot of fun.
While their romance is growing, both characters are also dealing with changes in their personal lives. Ryan finding his brother and Emma figuring out what she wants out of her career and where she wants her life to take her. Ryan is the more stable and comfortable with where he’s at in life and she still has to get to that point.
The setting and friendships are such a crucial part of this story, and that’s one of my favorite things. You really feel the connection between this group and the situations they face seem realistic and relevant.
Sweet, fun and adorable. This book was a breeze to read and had the right amount of teasing for the next novel. I cannot wait for it!

Lately, I have been looking for a fun contemporary romance that could just suck me in from the beginning. Sweet and sexy MC’s full of sass and just the right amount of swagger. Rachel Lacey certainly delivered in Crazy for You.
We have our reformed bad boy, Ryan, who swore to his best friend over a decade ago that he would never go after said best bud’s little sister, Emma. But when his best friend doesn’t come home from Afghanistan, the years change both Ryan and Emma. Ryan is no longer the messed up teen he was back then and Emma...well Emma is not a gangly 15-year-old anymore.
I adored how the author was able to highlight how different it is starting a relationship with someone you have so much history with as opposed to someone that only knows what you look like on the outside. No stories from your past. Simple. Uncomplicated. Until you have to share said stories. With Ryan and Emma, outside of a few hiccups with awkward transitions from friends within in their group to a couple within their group, they are just comfortable.
It was also nice to see the proverbial shoe on the other foot where the man-doth-protest-too-much instead. Ryan was dead set on keeping Emma out of his arms and his heart and well...you’ll see how well that works out. Emma was a likeable character. She was feisty and watching her take on that first dare and all the escapades that followed might have given me the kick in the butt that I’ve been looking for to make my own FUN anti-good-girl-to-do list. Now, Ryan...le swoooon! Tattoos? Check. Motorcycle? Check. Rough and tumble on the outside, but gooey sweet center on the inside? Check! Check!
Five stars to Crazy for You! Already bought the Risking it All short story, Rock for You and once I gobble that up, Run to You will follow soon after.

Crazy for You has so many things I just love – friends-to-lovers, best friend’s sister, good girl/bad boy … that’s just a start 🙂 We’ve already seen the first book in this series, Run to You (and I’ll have a review up for it soon!) and Lacey just keeps getting better with this trio of troubled heroes!
Emma and Ryan are so adorable together. Even while they spend a good part of the book trying to convince themselves that their friends-with-benefits relationship hasn’t turned into something more! Years of knowing one another, plus the bond of losing their families at a young age, give them a special understanding of each other. And it’s so delightful to see Ryan help step out of her comfort zone while she helps keep him guessing on where they’ll go next.
While the trouble that comes to this relationship isn’t surprising, it’s the falling in love part that will capture readers’ hearts. Lacey does an amazing job of keeping the characters’ interactions fun and the feels coming from the beginning all the way to the wonderfully delightful epilogue.

Emma Rush is looking for a little excitement in her life before she pursues her dreams of going to college. On a dare from her close friends, she decides to flirt with the town bad boy, Ryan Blake, and accept a ride on his motorcycle. Ryan has always had a thing for Emma but made a promise to her older brother that she was off-limits and plans to keep that promise even though her brother never made it back from military. The only thing is that Emma has definite plans to walk on the wild side and the more time that she spends with Ryan, she may find that they both have feelings that can’t be ignored for long.
Emma was a sweet character that had big dreams and felt that she needed some more excitement in her life. She always had a crush on Ryan and the feelings were mutual but neither of them ever acted on them. The chemistry between these two characters was amazing and you could see that they were destined to be together.
Crazy for You was lovely light-hearted romance and I fell in love with Emma and Ryan’s story. This is the second book in the Risking It All series and I love Ms. Lacey’s writing style for this series. I’m looking forward to the next book in the series to see who is next to get their happy ending.

Ryan Blake returns to Haven NC to join his buddies at Off the Grid, their adventure park. Until things pick up at the park he does some bar tending to maintain his home and living habits.
Emma Rush has always been in love with Ryan. So one night while out with the girls she is dared to flirt with him. She breaks down and tells him all about the dare and that she wants to lose her good girl image. Next thing she knows she is dating Ryan.
Due to a promise Ryan made to Emma's brother he is hesitant to admit he has feelings and wants a relationship, but life knows the truth.

3 stars
Crazy For You is the story of Emma, who is sick of being the good girl and wants to try out being the bad girl for awhile. She decided to flirt with her brother's best friend, Ryan. Ryan, being the goody he is, has always kept his sights away from Emma. She is after all his best friend's sister and there is a bro code about that!
The, for me, was a short and very sweet story. There was no real drama or craziness that caused any conflict. It was pure and sweet romance.
I didn't read the first book in this series (not even knowing this was a series), and it worked fine for me. It can be read as a standalone of you wanted to.

Crazy for You had one of my favorite tropes - the best friends little sister -- only there was a little bit more to the story than that.
Emma's decided to try something different with her life, she wants to let loose and explore her wild side, find a bad boy, get a tattoo, do something crazy. And she's decided that she knows just who to seek help with it too, Ryan, her brothers best friend. Emma has had a crush on him for years, and now she knows he's just the bad boy to help her out.
Despite the chemistry between them and the sparks flying, Ryan knows one thing - he swore to Emma's brother that he would take care of her and he knows he wouldn't approve of Ryan becoming involved with Emma. Too bad there's such a pull and Ryan can't find it in himself to stay away.
Crazy for You was superbly written, grabbing my attention and sucking me back into the world of Haven, GA and its inhabitants. The relationship between Emma and Ryan was interesting, from the initial resistance on Ryan's part to their mutual arrangement to their friendship growing into so much more. I loved watching as these two figured it all out, their emotions running alongside with mine as I read their story made it more relatable.
I look forward to reading the next book in this series and seeing how it all works out for the next couple in Haven.

What an engrossing and fast-paced read Ms. Lacey has penned in this book, which hooked me from the very beginning with the dare Emma's friends challenge her to follow through on. Will Ryan respond to her attempts at flirting? Will she be able to convince the hero into doing what she needs to do for the dare? However, I loved the moment the hero and heroine came face-to-face for the first time, as neither are expecting to see each other in that moment. Yet, it's palpable both are happy to see each other.
Both the main characters were entertaining due to their past history, as Emma was the annoying little sister type growing up and now she's not; their growing relationship, which is filled with plenty of heat; their back stories, which were emotional because they've lost so much and need each other to remind them that they still have someone they consider family; and the fact that this story encompasses the brother's best friend trope and Ryan does his best to honor the promise he made to his friend. Will Ryan be able to keep his promise?
Emma is strong, brave, and has done well for herself after everything she's been through in having lost her mom and brother at a young age. She's also hard-working, and I liked her plans for her future. She has so many decisions to make when it comes to her career, and I liked the ones she did make. As it meant she could still have the dream for her career she always wanted, stay where she's always felt she belonged and hopefully have the happy ever after she desperately deserves after suffering so much loss in her life. Moreover, I like how enthusiastic she is about her career and how she makes everyone in her small town proud of her by what she does with honoring those that never came home from fighting for their country.
While Ryan, he was a fantastic hero that I could not get enough of. He does his best to resist Emma, but there's no use. Not when she's so determined to annoy him with the way she teases him with talk about other guys and her plans to be a little bad. They have plenty of fun, which had me smiling throughout this book, and definitely get a little wild in and out of the bedroom. The hero's past wasn't an easy one either, because he was a bit of a troublemaker, but he's lucky to have found such great friends in the male secondary characters, as he, Ethan and Mark have managed to make a success of themselves with their business.
Overall, Ms. Lacey has penned a really good read in this book, which made me smile plenty of times because of the teasing dialogue between Ryan and Emma as well as between the main and secondary characters. Yet, it also made me want to cry at times due to the main characters back stories, especially with Ryan torn between honoring his promise to Emma's brother and wanting to be with Emma. Can he find a way to do both? The way this story ended was delightful, as Ryan had to find a way to make things right with the heroine after what he did to make her mad at him. However, it was the epilogue that wrapped this story up perfectly, because of Emma's surprise. I would recommend Crazy for You by Rachel Lacey, if you enjoy the brother's best friend trope or books by authors Lori Wilde, Jules Bennett, Jessica Lemmon or Shannon Stacey.

Emma and Ryan were so perfect for each other and so fun to read. I loved this book.

I think I have found a new one click author!
This was a fun friends to lovers story that has a couple of strong sub plots focusing on how dreams change and how family is what we make it.
When a dare pushes Emma to finally flirt with Ryan, it starts a wild ride for both of them. I enjoyed these two together and loved how their friends could see how right they were for each other even when they couldn't.
This is a well written stand alone that is 2nd in a series, but stands independently. I am definitely curious to go back and read book 1!

Emma was the pesky little sister of Derek. Ryan and Derek were best friends with a penchant for thrill seeking. Emma always wanted to tag along, but the boys said no. After high school Derek enlisted with the dream of going to college after he finished his service. Ryan, always feeling restless, took off on his motorcycle across country in hopes of finding the little brother who was adopted after their mom overdosed. Ryan promised Derek to look after his sister AND not sleep with her....
Years later, Ryan returns to Haven to run an outdoor adventure business with his friends Mark and Ethan. Derek didn't make it back from war. Ryan also works part-time as a bartender. When Emma walks up to the bar, on a dare, he can't help but notice how she's grown up. Emma is all Ryan can fantasize about, but can't have. Emma enlists Ryan's help in becoming more "wild, sexy, adventurous". Ryan says yes, even though he knows nothing can come of a relationship between them.
As Ryan and Emma spend more time together, it becomes harder to deny their connection and love. Emma struggles with following her dream to earn a degree in landscape architecture, while Ryan struggles with a promise he made 10yrs ago to Derek. I loved how supportive Ryan is of Emma. He introduces her to new experiences and helps her tackle her fears to achieve her dreams. I love that Emma supported Ryan's quest to form a relationship with his brother Trent. This novel was sweet, sexy, and funny. I did want to smack Ryan over the head about his reluctance to pursue Emma due to honoring a promise. Otherwise, this was a truly enjoyable read! I read a gifted copy and all opinions stated are my own.

Emma has been in love with Ryan since she was a young girl he was her brothers best friend, and her brother made him promise to look out for his sister.
Emma has decided she is sick of being boring so she is gonna start taking chances and it starts with trying to seduce Ryan. Ryan is trying so hard not fall for Emma but he is quickly losing the battle but maybe they could have fun till she goes back to school in Georgia. As Emma starts to try new things she wants and has Ryan right beside her and she is starting to fall in love with him but she knows she is leaving and she can't. I just love this little town Haven that they live in and how everyone knows everything but can it keep Ryan and Emma together?

This is the second in this series and continues with the story of another member of the group of men and their Haven based outdoor activity business.
Ryan is a man who has had to work hard to succeed, and whilst outwardly he may be tattooed and ride a Harley, he is still a man of honour and sensitivity. His reputation as a player may have once been justified, but right now he is just working hard to get the new business running. So when his dead best friend's little sister, Emma, flirts with him, he friend-zones her immediately. She is not going to let it rest though and watching them dance around each other is great fun.
This is a good story, which shows just how complicated it can be to navigate through life. No really major dramas to get round, just the things in life which remind us all how a decision can have such different outcomes to those we might have planned.
We get some very strong hints as to whose turn it will be next... but I resisted reading the first chapter at the end of the book, because I would only be frustrated at having to wait!

This is a sweet romance that really sucks you in from page one!
Emma has had a crush on her brother’s best friend, Ryan, forever. When her brother is killed while in the military, Ryan takes on the role of protector for Emma and they’ve never stepped out of that friend-zone. Then Emma decides she needs a walk on the wild side and Blake is the route she’d like to take. Ryan does everything he can to resist in the beginning, but the more time they spend together the less resistance he has until the sparks explode between the two.
I really love both Emma and Ryan’s characters. They’re well-written and though the plot line isn’t exactly original, it’s done in a way that will have you unwilling to set stop reading. I really love Mark and Jess’s characters and from what I’ve read their story is next… can’t wait!

This was a nice story in that Emma is tired of good girl life and is wanting a bad boy in her life for a change. The one she wants is Ryan and he made a promise to her brother before he left for the military to look after her and since her brother never made it home, he feels that even after four years that is what he still must do. Emma and her friends have decided that Ryan is just the bad boy for her. Tattoos, leather jacket, motor cycle and does not smile all the time. The plan is for him to see it as well. When he gets tired of her bringing in dates to the bar he works at he agrees to go out with her because in his mind she will be leaving for college soon, after saving money, and is now waiting on a letter from the college. Their time together is full of passion, with some hot scenes and she gets a tattoo as well. You get to find out about his past, and hers. A younger half-brother of his comes into town wanting to get to know him and that story is part of the overall story. Though at times I thought that this book was predictable the ending had a few twists that I was not expecting, and the epilogue really helped to tie everything together. Good characters and overall a good book.

Unfortunately, I did not care for this book as I had Run to You, the first in the series. The writing in this one is not nearly as good, and I never connected to the characters. I did not post the review because this was part of a book tour, and I don't post negative reviews when participating in a tour. I did, however, promote the book. I added the link.
