A woman becomes a suspect in the murder of her former friend when she's found dead and clues keep popping up leading them to her. When new neighbors move in one's an attorney and he represents her while dealing with romantic feelings for her. This was a quick read that had some good writing but the plotline was predictable. This would make a good beach read!

I received a copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley however the opinions and review are that of this reader.

The tale of a fallen woman often is the basis for a lot of chick lit books however the tale of murder that winds through the character's recovery is a great addition to the plot development.

The book is well written and flows nicely to allow for a quick page turner that you do not want to put down. The murder plot is written in a predictable nature as you know who the murderer is before the murder plot develops however the antics of the characters keeps you reading to the end.

I would recommend this book to anyone fond of chick lit even if they are not a fan of the murder/mystery genre. It was an enjoyable read and I would recommend additional books by this author.
