This is a fabulous read for anyone interested in WWII from a British-American point of view. Add in a little romance, a touch of feminism, and some espionage, and this story has something for all inspy readers!

A SECRET COURAGE, THE 1st in the London Chronicles series by Tracie Peterson. Powerful story in which Tracie has given us in depth look at
W W II from a woman, a WAC, working to stop Hitler. We meet Emma an American working with the English as a photographic interpreter. Using a stethoscope and pouring over them at night, looking for anything to stop the war. Her brother Samuel lost to this war, and it was her way of avenging his death. By finding the German secrets and passing them on. The simple luxury of tea with a lump of sugar. Wherever she looked ruins, and broken dreams of homes and lives gone. Her dreams of home, and having love , seemed so distant. So many woman now without, for too many men gone. She meets a special man , he wants to tell her his true identity and the work with M 15 but when can he. He gives her a Sand dollar, the hope in her eyes What it means to her, and the man that gave it to her. Tracie has done a lot of research and has crafted a unique and haunting story that will stay with one. The plot flowed, the characters were rich in detail. Given ARC by Net Galley for my voluntary review and my honest opinion.
