I received this as an arc from net galley in exchange for an honest review.
Gregoire has spent centuries with his brother guardians fighting for the safety and security of the realms. Endless decades of battling mixed with bouts of mindless sex to sate his needs.
Wow. Absolutely fantastic read.
CNPID.
I loved the story and the characters.
This is a very raunchy read.
Wow. Hot.
Can't wait to read next part.
This is a must read series and I would highly recommend this book.
Definitely worth more than 5 *.

You can never go wrong with reading a book by Setta Jay! I love everything she writes.

Unique storyline and it had great potential. The juvenile writing style and vocabulary absolutely ruined it.

I am feeling a sameness in this as the other books in the series. It wasn't bad. I just didn't really get captured.

4.75 "Love's not a strong enough word" Stars

I loved this couple! Gregoire was so Dominate & Possessive. *Swoon* I loved that our heroine was holding our her heart even though she was in the "mating frenzy". When he hurt her, she held his ass to the fire. She still made him work for her & be worthy of her before he earned her heart.

I was excited to see the continuation of Erik & Sam and the rest of their story. I loved his restraint over his beast. I loved her courage of moving forward without letting her past disable her. I am so ready for that boy to let loose. So glad we also got to see more of Alex & Uri.

So I found this amazing new series by getting this book free off NetGalley in exchange for an honest review, not realizing that it was book #2. It stated it could be read as a standalone. That's true, it could if this was the only one you were going to read. (Why anyone would want to do that & miss this awesome series is beyond me!) However it is an interconnected standalone with spoilers if you decide to go back & read the past books in series. You would also miss things as she sets up the next book in the previous book with Easter eggs thrown out about the next couple until she reveals who it will be.

Now normally my rating is if I Dream about that couple/book, or can't stop thinking about the couple, get in a book funk afterwards & not wanna read anything else... To me hands down 5*. If I wanna continue the series but won't have a problem going in & out of the series 4*. I will add or take away as I see fit, since "Hello, it's My Review"! Yes I dreamed about this book last night. Yup I am pissed I cannot continue to next book right away due to challenges & BR's.

So then why not 5*?? One fucking huge problem... The cut scene. 1 scene was cut of Cyril's & Delia. Seriously, that was such a pivotal part in the series going forward. Not only forward, Hell, Cyril's been a major player in this series. Don't tell me what happened, let me see it play out. That was the main scene that wasn't shown. There were others, like I also wanted the Reve's punishment. This scene wasn't a major plot scene but I still wanted it. Maybe that's the freak in me. I Didn't even get the deets on it. If not for that, this was absolutely a 5* book/series.

This was my first time reading a Setta Jay novel. The premise for the series is exciting. The guardians are immortal beings tasked with protecting the realms while watching over the slumbering Greek Gods. As a fa on Greek mythology, I loved the characters Ms. Jay developed and introduced in this series. Gregoire is a guardian who has been waiting for his mate to develop into a woman (he meets her as an infant) who can handle not only his demanding personality and sexuality but also the dangers (enemies) associated with being mated to a guardian. Nice story. I think the language and overall writing could have been improved, but still an enjoyable read. Thanks to Netgalley and publisher for copy in exchange for an honest review.

well written and interesting plot. Sex scenes a little to graphic for me this time, I have read and enjoyed this author for years.

Gregoire is a Guardian of the Realm. After recently having the honor of assisting his brother-in-arms with his binding ceremony, he’s finally ready to claim his mate, an innocent that he’s been watching over since she was a baby. Unfortunately, Alyssa was never told she has a mate, so when she finds out on accident, she’s furious and leaves her family home, heading to a place of decadence.
Again with this one, the author does a great job with the Greek subplot. I basically had the same problems with this one as I did with the other: rape situations without warning before reading the book and a light sexual situation from one of the main characters. With this one, I was more prepared for it though. I really felt for what Gregoire was going through and why he waited. I understood Alyssa’s fury and thought the author did an excellent job with the situations she put her through. I just didn’t agree with her initial reaction to finding out about her mate.
Overall great story and absolutely LOVE all the characters in the book. I can’t wait to read about the next guardian. I highly recommend to anyone that likes these genres.

I received an advance reader copy in exchange for a fair review. This book is full of action and violence. The main love story revolves around Gregoire and his destined mate Alyssa. He becomes aware of her being his mate at the time of her birth. He waits until she is 25 years old before he claims her as most mates are claimed at age 30 and this creates issues between the two of them. This is a fast pace action story that makes for an interesting book.

After the wonderful ride I was given with book one, Ecstasy Unbound, I was looking forward to Ecstasy Claimed and finding out what Gregoire had in store for me, and he did not disappoint.

Unbeknownst to his fellow guardians, Gregoire found his mate when she was a tiny little infant. Because she was the daughter of a good friend who was concerned about Gregoire’s dominant tendencies and personality, he allowed himself to be talked into waiting to claim Alyssa even after she reached maturity. This was a mistake.

I felt for Gregoire. Finding your mate is rare and should be a beautiful moment but for him, it was almost like a punishment. His kind must have sex to survive and 25 years of sex with women who weren’t his mate was pure torture.

When Alyssa finds out her true mate knew who and where she was and hasn’t shown to claim her for over five years, she’s deservedly pissed. A decision is made to take certain matters into her own hands (and no, it was not hunting down her dumbass mate). Her reaction was a bit knee-jerk and a more than a little immature, but I understood. Even with her completely righteous anger, when the shit hit the fan she didn’t blink at doing what was needed and her strength and loyalty were what shone through.

Alyssa had some growing up to do while Gregoire had some making up to do, and I gotta tell you, I enjoyed my ringside seats to some of their bouts. Being true mates the sexual vibes are thick and the mating frenzy means it’s pretty much hubba hubba time all the time. To spice things up, these two don’t mind an audience, just as long as no one touches.

No worries that the sexual shenanigans are the only action happening on the pages, there’s a war going on and Cyril has upped the ante. The danger for Mageia women is increasing as even more are kidnapped. He has also stepped up his attacks by going after the towns and anything he thinks will hurt the Guardians, including trying to nab Alyssa. It doesn’t happen often, but I was completely surprised by the outcome of the last battle and now am wondering what’s going to happen from here.

Sam and Erik’s story continued in this book almost like a romance within a romance. I wish these two had gotten their own book as I think their strength and willingness to sacrifice for each other is deserving of their own story. I’m also growing quite fond of the rest of the Guardians and am looking forward to seeing what comes next.

I really enjoyed this book. Gregoire is an immortal fighting to save his and the human realm. He fortunate enough to find his mate, but she is an infant. He makes the sacrifice to stay out of her life not only so she could enjoy her childhood but beyond the age of acceptance so that she can have time to herself. Alyssa learns that not only does she have a mate but he has refused to claim her. How do they work through their misunderstanding while fighting the evil that is trying to take over their realm. Gregoire learns he has a strong, powerful mate and Alyssa learns she has a devoted mate that loves and believes in her. This book was fast pace, funny and kept my interest. It had several plots going at one time. I think everyone will find something to enjoy in it.

This book is full of graphical and explicit erotic sex, lust, menage mixed with a little romance on the side. For the lovers of eroctic and kinky romance out there you would enjoy this book, it is well written and very intoxicating, you can get an overdose from this book my advice to you is just go slow and easy and reach the end.

4.5 blow my hair back stars!

I LOVE Setta Jay and this world she has created. I loved how this book was set more in the Tetartos realm and getting to know more of the Brothers. The descriptions of the world are unique enough to set it apart from The Earth realm but similar enough to evoke images.

I thoroughly enjoyed the story about Alex and Uri and was a little unsure about this one because of the delayed mating issue. I knew Alyssa would be dealing with rejection issues and that can go either way for me. Also Gregoire knowing about her and being with other human women can be a hot button.

I failed to realize how well Setta would address it and have them discuss it. Thank you writer Gods an author who actually allows the MCs to TALK SHIT OUT!!!

( Sorry been in a book slump of sex and no resolution)

As for Heat level it is a scorcher!!! and what Gregoire does to atone and make Alyssa believe in him again almost knocked my socks off. Wowza I need a fan and its 30 degrees here. This was a solid read for me and I cant wait to see what happens next.

I loved this book, and I am obsessed with this series now. More than anything I love the continuity between the books, although they could be read alone. Ms. Jay is an amazing author with an ability to create interesting characters, worlds, plots and the perfect amount of steam. I was so engrossed that it became a pizza night since I wasn't going to stop reading this one to make dinner (don't judge it's that good).
