Happy Book Release Day
for
Ruth Emmie Lang of  Beast of Extraordinary Circumstances!

As always I would like to thank NetGalley and the publishers for St. Martin's Press for allowing me the chances to read this incredible novel of a wonderfully talented debuting author before it's release date!

There's something extremely exciting about reading a debuting authors work, and Ruth Emmie Lang is nothing more than spectacular in her debuting book.

The Beast of Extraordinary Circumstances follows the life of  Welyn Grey,  from adorable childhood experiences to the beyond. The powerful story is filled with kindness, love and of course magic duh! This story is about how one person can truly influence the lives of so many. I truly cannot describe how amazing this book is to me. I love Weyln, he's is such a great character whose selfless actions make it hard not to swoon over. There are moments in the book where tragic and beautiful are illustrated in a single scene that gives you the perfect balances between happiness and sadness. To be honest the sadness doesn't take long to smack you in the face. I mean literal it's on page 50, it will slap you in the face the same way Sarah J. Maas broke the hearts of many on page 666 in  A Court of Wrath and Ruin, you guys know what I'm talking about *wink*.

Throughout the life of Weyln Grey, he encounters many people along life's twisting path. Through the eyes of other people, we get to meet and how him from many different perspectives.  To me this is where the writing style of debuting author Ruth Emmie Lang truly stands out, her character transition comes and go in the short time that we get to know them. The characters manage to make more impression than other characters that readers would encounter throughout the entire book. There are times I feel that the protagonist is only as strong as the supporting character that they are surrounded by. I felt that in the way that Ruth Emmie Lang wrote this wonderfully crafted tale.

I'm going, to be honest, I'm sure my review makes no sense because this book is really hard to explain. Trying to properly express how I feel about this book is hard. It's just as hard as explaining to someone in detail about the plot details of Clockworth Orange and still hold the all the details in the fact that you now you're missing some very vital points. Thus why I'm begging you to be please read this book. It's amazing in the way it's written, the story telling is refreshing and Ruth Emmie Lang is going to be an author to watch out for. I'm very happy to be apart of her debuting genre!

This is Lia from Lia's Bookish Obsession telling you to go read a damn book!
Peace out lovelies!

A well-measured and carefully written book in a timely manner which adds value to the current discussions around the Holy Book.

Thank you for allowing me to try this book. I'm 48yo and a British Asian, fascinated with the portrayals of Islam that extremists force upon the western world. I was looking for a book that would help me understand true Islam, and unfortunately, this one, well-written as it is, was not 'dumbed down' enough for me to interpret it. However, I have been inspired to find a Basics of Islam book from my local library, that I will be reading and commenting on. In case you're interested, it's the Author's Notes from Enemy Within (which I edited for the author, Tal Bauer) that made me seek out more information on Islam.
