I waited to write this review hoping I would be a bit less emotional mess than I was when I finished the book, but I don't think there's hope for that. I absolutely loved Alex and Clara and their story to happily ever after. I think this is my favorite Copper Ridge novel, it just hit me in the core, and touched every single emotion on its way.
Alex Donnelly is a war veteran, the youngest brother in the dysfunctional Donnelly family. His parents did a number on him by the emotional neglect, and enforcing the thoughts of him not being enough, not being valued or cared for. His best friend died while they are deployed, and left the family ranch for Alex's care, to make sure his sister, Clara, will be set for life as the only surviving member of the family.
Clara Campbell (that last name with her eating habits is just perfect!) has lost every member of her family, yet she is surviving, barely functioning, yes, but continuing on. She has lived her life on the family ranch, teaching herself how to live, how to take care of herself and manage life with so much loss surrounding her. She is a virgin with limited life experience outside her safe circle, yet with a vast knowledge of life, loss, sorrow, and survival.
Her loneliness was heartbreaking, how death has taken everything dear to her, leaving her gasping. Yet I am not sure which is worse, her destiny, or the one of Alex's where his parents choose to leave him behind and ignore him instead. They have the feelings of solitude and survival as the common factor as other wise they are the complete opposite.
The amount of emotion the author has managed to fit on each page of the story blew me away. The feelings are raw and real, they are tense and bottomless. They are both broken inside, vulnerable under the tough exterior. They have hidden the burden of pain from the world with smiles but with each other, they find the courage and the challenge to be true to themselves acceptable.
I love how the story was built with long, deep, difficult conversations where the characters had a chance to air out their emotions, their disappointments, and triumphs of life. The conversations between Alex and Clara, the talks between Alex and his brothers, they go deep into their thoughts and feelings, to a mentally naked place where there's nothing left to hide. These characters truly get to know each other, giving a solid foundation to built their relationships on, instead of just being present, or physically satisfying their needs. They are able and willing to do the hard things to heal, to grow, and to find their peace and place in life.
The story is not all angst and tears, it is well built with a balance of dark and light. There are joy and cheer, there are moments of laughter, amusing banter, brotherly love, and passion and tenderness between a woman and a man. Yet instead of going overboard with sexual tension, the author goes deep and exposes all the difficult, hurtful inner thoughts and emotions, giving the story beautiful depth and graceful character development. Wild Ride Cowboy is easily one of my favorite stories from 2017

Wild Ride Cowboy by Maisey Yates
Copper Ridge #9
The Donnellys #3

This is the first book I have read by this author but not my last. The book was well written, the characters well developed and the story believable. I enjoyed the story and when the book ended wanted to know more about the Donnelly brothers, the women at the winery Clara works part time at and wondered if Asher the barista would find love and if so with whom.

In this book Alex Donnelly has returned to the family ranch after being discharged from the military. He is there to help on the ranch but has also been given the task of helping his buddy Jason’s younger sister – now alone as both parents and her brother are dead. Clara Campbell is in a funk and crushing on a barista when Alex steps into her life and begins to drag her out of the doldrums. Though he is ten years older than her at twenty-one she is a woman and knows what she wants – Alex. There are ups and downs and issues to deal with BUT there is eventually a happily ever after and a hook for Liam Donnelly’s story which is next in line.

Thank you to NetGalley and HQN for the ARC – This is my honest review.

Wild Ride Cowboy by Maisey Yates is the ninth book in the Copper Ridge series. I always adore every single visit to Copper Ridge. It always feels like coming home to me. Alex and Clara's story was no different. The passion between the characters is front and center. The chemistry between the two is absolutely off the charts. They are so hot for each other but refuse to see past everything else they have going on.

Clara is a sweet and loving. She is so sheltered and inexperienced. She wears every emotion on her face. Grieving the loss of her brother has been extremely hard on her. So much has changed in the last little bit. How will she ever move forward.

Alex is trying to withhold a promise he made to his best friend and fellow soldier. He will do whatever it takes to protect Clara and that includes staying away from her himself. He knows that he was supposed to protect her not be prowling all over her.

If you have never read any of the Copper Ridge series I suggest you do so today. This series is absolutely to die for. I can't wait to continue to read more.

Alex Donnelly holds a lot of guilt for the death of his best friend and military brother-in-arms. So, accepting the responsibility of taking care of his late comrade's sister is the least he could to honor his friend. However, Alex never expected to fall for the one woman that is off-limits to him. Will Alex realize that love is worth taking a chance on, or will he lose the best thing that's ever happened to him -- the love of a good woman?

This is the second book I've read by Ms. Yates, and the second book I've read in this series, and I've got to say that the Donnelly men are an absolute treat to read because they're good guys that have been through a lot. The way this story started had me sympathizing with the heroine, as she's had a lot of loss in her life, and with Alex's news on top of it, I could understand why she feels betrayed. Why would her brother do what he did? However, it was from the moment the hero and heroine came face-to-face for the first time in this story that made me completely hooked, as Alex is a hard man to ignore. Will Clara be able to handle Alex being in her life?

As for the dialogue, it was riveting and made this story very engaging, as there's a bit of an age difference between Alex and Clara. She's quite the innocent, yet she's resilient, courageous and I liked how determined she was to go after what she wanted -- a chance with Alex. Moreover, she's been through a lot in her life having lost her family, and I could sympathize with her when it comes to her grief and how she's handling her recent loss. Yet, what I liked most about the heroine is how she began to move past her grief with the help of Alex. The news of how her brother died and what he did certainly helps her to understand how much of a hero her brother was. While Alex, he's been through a lot in his life with parents that did a number on him and made him feel as if he wasn't good enough. Yet, he's done well for himself, despite his upbringing. I also liked the way he was with his brothers and how they tease each other when it comes to their love lives and life in general. Yet, what I liked most about the hero is his interactions with Clara and his willingness to help her, even though it's more to honor his friend's wishes than for the heroine at first.

Overall, Ms. Yates has penned a really good read in this book where the fantastic main characters kept me entertained from start to finish with their back stories and the obstacles they have to overcome on their journey to happy ever after; the secondary characters had me liking them due to their advice and their need to make sure Alex is making the right choice by getting involved with Clara; the chemistry between this couple was intense; the romance full of exquisite heat and passion that had me thinking that Alex needed Clara in his life to overcome his past demons; and the ending had me wondering whether Alex would ever realize that his relationship with Clara is the best thing that's ever happened to him before it's too late. However, in saying that, I liked that Clara didn't give up on Alex, even though he did his best to make sure she had the life she would have hopefully had if she didn't suffer the losses she's had in her life. I would recommend Wild Ride Cowboy by Maisey Yates, if you enjoy the brothers best friend trope or books by authors Lori Wilde, Jennifer Ryan, Susan Mallery and Mariah Stewart.

Whatever books I’ve read of Maisey Yates, have been fun, lighthearted and warm. Her latest in the Copper Ridge Series, “Wild Ride Cowboy” is just as charming reuniting Alex Donnelly and Clara Campbell.

The death of his best friend and brother in arms brings Alex Donnelly back home to fulfill his friend’s last wishes, a task he’s not looking forward to, and an act that would keep in close proximity to the one love in his life, Clara Campbell.

Losing her family and a brother she had adored leaves Clara Campbell alone to run their depleting ranch, trying to make ends meet and survive on the meager earnings. Realizing that the ranch was left in the guardianship of Alex Donnelly is as shocking as her feelings for Alex.

“Wild Ride Cowboy” is sweet ride of read. Alex as the protective cowboy and the man in love, helping Clara is a treat and Clara as the courageous woman trying to keep her family ranch going is one of Maisey’s strong characters I’ve read her. Add in the sparks of attraction and Maisey does a fine job developing their relationship making it a pleasure to read this story.

Alex was in the military and now back to help out an old brother-in-arms who passed wish for him to care for his sister while hes gone. Meanwhile Clara has been just fine without Alex help. Shes been so used to being on her own and still a bit bitter that her brother went out after all they went through when they were younger and got himself killed. Alex can see there is things that need to be done and will do what he can to help Clara get on her feet then set her on her way. The one thing they didn't expect was the attraction between the two.

It seems as though I've been jumping in and out of this series and not even noticing it. For the most part I've really enjoyed this book. Its been told so many times before but can't help myself when it comes to a good contemporary romance. I loved the two main characters and that I was able to see the point of view for both characters. It really helped me dive deeper into the characters and why they made some choices that didn't seem quite right. Overall this book was sweet, steamy, and just in general a good read.

Random to point out but I just want to point out well done for the cover!

Provocative, emotional, and incredibly heartwarming!

Wild Ride Cowboy is a passionate tale between a sweet, dependable, sexy cowboy with a rocky past and an innocent, diligent young woman with scars of her own who may just find everything they desire, want and need in each other.

The prose is smooth and light. The characters, including the supporting characters, are warm, sincere, and fun. And the plot is a romantic journey filled with heartbreak, loss, friendship, introspection, witty dialogue, delicious chemistry, support, and love.

Overall, Wild Ride Cowboy is definitely an entertaining, enjoyable, effortless tale and even though it’s the ninth book in the “Copper Ridge” series, it can certainly be read as a standalone novel.

Thank you to Harlequin Books for providing me with a copy in exchange for an honest review.

I was ready for a good cowboy story and this one delivered. Both Clara and Alex have broken souls dealing with pain and grief. Clara's brother knew what he was doing having Alex in charge of the ranch. As they deal with their pain they may just have found the balm that calms their souls. It's a tough go especially with Clara's independent side and Alex feeling like he's not worthy of Clara. Great characters with real deep emotions. There is a great combination of fun lighthearted moments along with the deep serious ones. Couldn't have rooted more for these two characters who needed each other more.

Clara is 21 and if the loss of her parents wasn’t devastating enough she has now lost her brother while he was deployed. She is cute, funny and acts like the young woman she is and she is not prepared to face life without her brother so avoidance is the path she has chosen.

Alex was her brother’s best friend and they served together. He is the complete opposite of Clara as he has seen and experienced things no one should have too and that has made him brooding and closed. As per his friend’s wishes he has inherited everything on the ranch, and that includes Clara, for one year to ensure that it is operating satisfactorily.

They are both stubborn and opinionated so initially they rubbed each other the wrong way but as they worked on the ranch together they became friends and then much more. They fit each other perfectly as she helped him enjoy life and he helped her mature. I love this series and I can’t wait to see what the author comes up with next. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

So when I got Wild Ride Cowboy, I will honestly admit, it was for the name and the cover! And while the old adage states that I shouldn't judge a book by its cover, there was just something about this cover, I had to read it, and I will say, the cover is one of my favorites! It's simple, I haven't seen it on a bunch of other books, and it portrays love, which for me, is perfection.

Now for all clarity, I have only read one other Maisey Yates and Copper Ridge book before, and that was the Christmas novella, Snowed In At Copper Ridge, so I haven't been heavily invested in this series….until now!

Oh My Goodness, I absolutely loved the story of Clara and Alex…From their shared heartbreak from their families, to Alex's survivors guilt, and everyone underestimating the level of maturity that Clara has! It truly was one scrumptious tale!

The writing was smooth, and the plot detailed, even if the pace did dawdle there for a little, the book was overall enjoyable, and is totally going to make me read the other books in the series. And don't worry if you haven't read the other books, Wild Ride Cowboy can totally be read as a standalone, and you will not be lost.

I give Wild Ride Cowboy 4.5 stars!

How can a story be both angsty to the core and delightfully silly, often concurrently? Not to mention passionate and poignant. Welcome to Maisey Yates’s latest Wild Ride Cowboy, the ninth in her Copper Ridge series.

Clara Campbell is in the throes of a massive addiction—to caffeine.

He was perfect in every way.

Clara Campbell didn’t even bother to hide the look of longing she knew was currently etched on her face. Asher was facing away from her anyway, working on making a cappuccino behind the bar—for her—so he wouldn’t notice if she spent a little while admiring the elegant way he moved while he steamed the milk.

Okay, maybe most people wouldn’t be applying words like elegant to the process of steaming milk. But in her mind, Asher could do no wrong, and everything he did was poetry. Including his work as a barista at Copper Ridge’s newest artisan coffeehouse, Stim.

Is it Clara’s desperate need for caffeine that leads her to soak up the magic of Asher’s moves? Nope. She doesn’t even like coffee, a fact that her late brother Jason’s friend, Alex Donnelly, finds both odd and intriguing. Clara is looking for love and affection and she’s built up a whole fantasy around the new barista in town.

A little background please. What brings former soldier Donnelly to Copper Ridge and why does he turn into the Stim parking lot when he spots Clara’s vehicle?

Putting down roots in Copper Ridge was never Alex Donnelly's intention. But if there's one thing the ex-military man knows, it's that life rarely unfolds as expected. If it did, his best friend and brother-in-arms would still be alive. And Alex wouldn't have inherited a ranch or responsibility for his late comrade's sister—a woman who, despite her inexperience, can bring tough-as-iron Alex to his knees.

Clara is not happy to see Alex because he reminds her of all the pain in her life: “The man was dragging a bunch of her baggage in with him.” Clara is an orphan—her parents died when she was a teenager and her brother died in battle. As the lone survivor, Clara lives on the run-down family ranch. Her greatest skill is “a black sense of humor honed out of necessity—since a good portion of her life had been very dark indeed, and she’d had to find ways to laugh.” Jason entrusted her care, legally, to his comrade Alex, a circumstance that gave no comfort to Clara—she doesn’t want to count on anyone so she brushes him off when he apologizes for not stopping by.

She didn’t want a false sense of ease. That would only make it harder when she was along again.

“It’s not okay, actually. We have some things we need to discuss.”

Clara is barely getting by at the ranch. She’s ignoring bills, the work of the ranch combined with her part-time winery job is never-ending, and every night she falls into a dreamless sleep—“if she was lucky”—followed by rinse/repeat the next day.

After Alex visits Clara at the ranch, he determines that willy-nilly, she clearly needs some help and he’s the man to give it. After all, he promised her brother. In a while though, it’s more than a past promise that keeps Alex showing up, repairing fences and everything else that’s been neglected. For one thing, Clara is deceptively capable and forward-thinking. Exhibit A: her bee hives. She’s determined that honey is a product with a lot of sales potential. After a spaghetti dinner, he devours “bread, mostly as a vehicle for the butter and honey.” Clara thinks she might just dive into the honey bucket. It’s no wonder that cappuccinos don’t appeal to her; they don’t have her secret sauce, lashings of chocolate and sugar.

“It is pretty good,” he said.

“Did you know that eating local honey can help with your seasonal allergies?”

Alex laughed and it created a kind of strange space in her chest that seemed to exist just to hold whatever feeling his laughter conjured up inside of her. She didn’t know what it was. Only that it felt weighted, heavy. Maybe because she knew no matter no quick Alex was with a smile, they shared a common pain.

That they both knew how difficult life could be. That they knew the cost of things. But he smiled anyway. And he laughed.

This time she had made him laugh, and that—she was discovering—held its own kind of satisfaction.

That’s a pretty great prescription for a happy life—knowing that life will definitely hold difficulties, smile and laugh anyway. Clara and Alex gradually, convincingly, see the magic in each other—it’s a Wild Ride Cowboy with a happy, solid ending.

I've read all the books in this series and absolutely adore the Donnelly brothers and the town of Copper Ridge. Clara was so sweet and funny. She eats like a kid, no vegetables mostly junk food. She loves Spaghetti-Os and hot chocolate. She's lost her mom, dad and brother and is officially a member of the walking wounded. To top it off, when her brother died he left the family farm and her to his best friend, Alex Donnelly! Boy were Clara and Alex hot together and constantly had me laughing out loud, that was if I wasn't blowing my nose from crying. One of the best things about this series is getting caught up with the characters you have met from earlier books.

I adore Maisey Yates’s Copper Ridge series, and the ninth stand-alone book, Wild Ride Cowboy, is no exception. It’s full of charm, passion and tenderness and should not be missed. Clara lost her parents when she was young and she’s recently lost her older brother leaving her without any family and struggling to manage her family’s ranch by herself. She’s determined and making plans for the future when she’s devastated to find out that her brother left the ranch to one of his best friends and former army buddies, Alex.

Alex is reluctantly committed to following through with his friend’s wishes, but he never thought he'd settle in the small town of Copper Ridge, Oregon. He’s takes steps tome sure Clara is self sufficient, but she’s not too excited to have his involvement. She resents his presence, but she also cannot ignore Alex's sincerity and appeal. An attraction between them simmers and complicates their developing relationship, especially for Alex who feels guilty for desiring his friend’s little sister. He and Clara have a sweet and sexy dynamic, and it’s enchanting to see them come together. Wild Ride Cowboy is heart-tugging, entertaining and swoon-worthy.

Clara Campbell has lost so much in her young life, her parents have passed, and now she is coping with the loss of her brother, who died during his deployment. She is drifting through life, still broken and wounded from all her losses, and not really dealing properly with all the responsibilities that have piled up since her brother's passing... namely a certain sexy soldier who currently also happens to be her caretaker. Alex, her brother's friend, has been left in charge of the ranch she lives on, the place she calls home, and anything else that might arise for the next year, problem is Clara wants nothing to do with him nor is willing to let him call the shots in her life. She doesn't need a babysitter, and she doesn't really need a constant reminder of her brother hanging around everyday... but Alex doesn't seem to want to take the hint!

Alex Donnelly never really planned on making a return to Copper Ridge, let alone moving back their to start the next chapter of his life, but when his best friend loses his life in Afghanistan, Alex finds himself assigned to all the responsibilities he left behind. Namely his little sister Clara, she is young, all alone now, and Alex feels like it is his job to get her back on the straight and narrow, and help her heal after losing her brother, but she has no intentions of letting him in. She is beyond frustrating, but Alex isn't about to walk away... he has a promise to keep!

Wild Ride Cowboy is a story of healing, hope, and second chances. This was my first visit to Copper Ridge and I have to say I really enjoyed my time with these two, Alex and Clara were quite the pair, they definitely kept me on my toes!! Alex had his hands full with his young damsel Clara, she was feisty and not willing to back down from his ultimate alpha tendencies, it was a lot of fun to watch them dance around one another, and dish out the banter! Their story was filled with moments that made me smile, moments that had me near tears, and moments that had me doing some serious swooning... overall I would say it was a successful first visit! Highly recommend this one, especially if you like good-hearted cowboys... Alex is sure to swoop in and steal your heart from the very first chapter!

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this title.

Rain was pounding against the back of his neck, rolling down his shirt collar, soaking him clear through to the bone, but he barely felt it. He was on fire inside, so if the rain did anything, it just kept him from turning to ash right where he stood.

This moment—the one that’s alluded to on the lovely cover of Wild Ride Cowboy—was probably my favorite of this book. It was a sweet, sexy, tense moment in a book that was sweet, sexy and tense, and I verily SWOONED as Alex and Clara finally gave into their attraction.

As the ninth book in the Cooper Ridge series, Wild Ride Cowboy had a lot to live up to. I’ve enjoyed all of the books in this series in my own way—I always feel like Maisey Yates just knows how to right a feel good, hot and steamy cowboy romance—and this one was as enjoyable as the rest. In fact, it was one of the fresher ones I’ve read of late; the push/pull of Alex and Clara’s relationship and their age difference, the pasts that bound them together and tried to break them apart, and the internal turmoil that they both faced were interesting (if at times a touch repetitive) and chockful of emotion.

In fact, there was a lot of emotion to be found in Wild Ride Cowboy from the funny, fraught interludes between the Donnelly brothers—not to mention the deeper bonding moments specifically between Alex and Liam, whose book I await with bated breath—to the happiness of Finn and Cain and their women, to the strength and candor displayed by Clara.

To that end, I need to note that Clara Campbell was one of the best heroines I’ve encountered in Ms. Yates’ books. No matter her age and relative innocence, the maturity and bravery she showed shone bright—and her quirks (not to mention her palate) were incredibly charming.

And in the end, despite a couple of inconsistencies, charming is probably the best way to describe not just this particular book, but the entire Copper Ridge series. It is, after all, a small-town that I’d like to visit, a town I have visited—nine times now—and a town I look forward to visiting again… each and every time a new book is released.

He tasted like desire, grief and need. And most of all like Alex. Her Alex.

Always fun to re-visit the Donnelly family in Copper Ridge! With this book, Maisey Yates brings us Alex's story. He's haunted by his past, but is determined to keep his promise to his late Army buddy and get his sister set up to prosper in the future. I liked Clara and admired her spirit after all she had lost. I enjoyed Alex, but had a little harder time connecting with him than I did with his brother's in the past. Not my favorite in the series, but a fun read none-the-less.

Alex Donnelly never planned on putting down roots, but circumstances change on the dime in life, and he finds himself not only working with his brothers on the family ranch, but also taking over at his buddy's family ranch for a short time to get his little sister settled.

Clara Campbell can't believe her brother sent a keeper to take charge of her life. She doesn't need anyone to make her face the things she's burying her head in the sand about ... but after spending some time with Alex, she wouldn't mind him helping her do other things! Can she convince him that he's just the one to help her enjoy life a little more?

Wild Ride Cowboy is delectably stunning, emotionally intense and hard to let go of. She wants love, he needs love, but guilt and a promise stand in the way. For Clara life has been one devastating loss after another. Now the sole survivor of her once abundant family, she buries herself in work and unrequited dreams. Alex is a reminder of a loss too fresh to endure. Her brother's best friend is dealing with his own grief and guilt. A promise has brought him face to face with destiny. Clara is the missing piece of his soul. Will he allow fear to deprive him of his heart's desire? The feelings are heartbreakingly real, after all Copper Ridge is the place where second chances go to begin.

A predictable romance with two people from previous books in the series. Another of the Donnelly bother find their HEA after overcoming their past. Now there is just one bother left. I enjoyed how strong Clara was but I did get a little tired of hearing about how the past would just repeat itself before being overcome.

i was torn on this book. the whole copper ridge series has been hit or miss with me. some of the dialogue and banter in this book was exactly what i loved about the series. but the hangups these two characters had was hard to get by. first of all, i dislike huge age gaps and its especially hard when this girl is just 21 years old! the hero is not much better; even though he is older, he's never had a relationship which makes them both virgins. he was a pretty big dick to her in some parts and his "i want to set you free" was such bullshit. i was glad when sabrina at least called that out because i had the same reaction. i just had a hard time believing two such emotionally stunted people could come together.

WILD RIDE COWBOY – Maisey Yates
Copper Ridge: The Donnelly’s, Book 3
HQN
ISBN: 978-0-373-80364-4
September 2017
Contemporary Romance

Copper Ridge, Oregon – Present Day

Alex Donnelly returned to Copper Ridge in order to satisfy the will of his late grandfather to work with his four brothers on their ranch, but he also has another reason: to check in on his late friend’s sister. Clara Campbell is all alone after losing first her parents, then her brother, and is running a ranch with no help. After leaving the military and wandering from place to place, Alex arrives in Copper Ridge but hasn’t yet told Clara that her brother Jason’s will also left the ranch to him to run for a year as Jason felt she was too young. Clara is twenty-one, but has the prickly pear personality of a much older person. They run into each other at a new coffeehouse, where Clara is “stalking” the owner because she fancies him. However, Clara is only pretending to like coffee. Her tastes run more to sugary hot chocolate and spaghettiOs. She’s also resistant to Alex taking over the ranch after he informs her about the will’s contents. But Alex hasn’t yet told Clara that Jason died protecting him. It’s still painful for him as he feels it’s his fault Jason died.

Clara lost both her parents before she turned eighteen, but once she became an adult, her brother Jason, who returned home temporarily, rejoined the military, only to die two years later. Alex intimidates her because he’s always gruff and unfriendly towards her. Now that he’s there to work the ranch, she’s forced to be around him. Alex and Clara may have different ideas on how to run the ranch, but they both want it to succeed. Every day he’s there, and it stirs up feelings for each other that they didn’t expect to happen. But Alex is older and more experienced than the virginal Clara. Is Clara going to be the temptation Alex will be unable to resist? What about when he walks away in a year…will her heart be broken?

Clara and Alex are in an untenable position right now. Neither wants to work with the other, but they have no choice according to the terms of Jason’s will. Clara might be young, but she’s learned to grow up…sort of. She doesn’t drink coffee or tea, only sugary drinks. She is a picky food eater who can’t cook and lives on junk food and spaghettiOs. Alex enters her life and is amused at her food choices, especially since she’s made it clear she’s interested in the coffeehouse owner who is into healthy foods. It’s no surprise that Clara and Alex clash, but hate soon turns to lust. Alex feels he’s betraying his friend’s memory if he shows an interest in Clara, but does he have a choice when she’s so tempting?

Alex’s father was basically a no-gooder who had four sons by three different women. The “boys” grandfather died and his will stipulates they must share the ranch at Copper Ridge. Alex would rather be elsewhere, but he also has the responsibility of Clara. Once he’s fulfilled the terms of both of his commitments, he’s going to be on his way again. However, the chemistry between Clara and Alex sizzles too hotly to be ignored. Once he’s had a taste of her, can he walk away? What about his claim that she needs to spread her wings before she can settle down?

WILD RIDE COWBOY is part of the Copper Ridge: The Donnelly’s series by Maisey Yates, and readers get glimpses of Alex’s brothers and their fiancée’s (excluding the still single Liam, whose tale is up next). However, WILD RIDE COWBOY can easily be read as a standalone without any difficulty.

It’s a sexy wild ride for Clara and Alex in WILD RIDE COWBOY that turns out to be an exciting journey for both that readers will love.
