Tempting Dusty by Helen Hardt is a good fit for those seeking a passionate and emotional romance novel that explores themes of courage, resilience, and the power of love to overcome adversity.

I was unable to download before it was archived. I was really excited about this title and sad that I missed it.

An absolutely wild ride. Utterly heart wrenching. Emotional rollercoaster.

Zach and Dusty first met as children through their siblings having been best friends. Dusty's family moved away and now they are coming together again for the first time in many, many, years.
The rodeo is in full swing and Dusty has her eye on Zach's bull (literally) and the money on the ride that will help save the family ranch. As Dusty and Zach grow closer, Zach is learning that not everything is as it seems with Dusty.

From start to finish, this novel took me four hours. Four. I was so enraptured with these characters. I felt Zach's frustration, his confusion, his pain. I was there with Dusty in her sadness and just feeling her heart break over and over for her struggles and not wanting to involve Zach and put that on him.

Highly recommended if you are looking for a tear jerker romance with a happy ending!

What a pleasant read. The love scenes were steamy and the story line was a really nice pairing between Dusty and Zach.

I enjoy this author, and have loved a lot of what she’s written, so I jumped at the opportunity to read one of her earlier books that I hadn’t read yet. This was a tough book for me, dealt with a subject near and dear to my heart given my mom passed away from AML leukemia after a very short battle. I connected with the situation with Dusty and Sam’s mom, felt for Sam having to leave his only childhood friend Chad because of the dire situation with his mom, but for me, that’s where the connection ended. I found Dusty to be rather an airhead when it came to her relationship with Zach, and truly disliked the word “darlin” by the time the story ended. Rather predictable on how things would play out in the end given the situations between Zach and Dusty, and really didn’t care for the secrets, just irritating. Did like Dusty’s ability to read animals, especially with Jemma and the kittens. Overall just an okay book.

Action packed, sexy, fun and emotional journey filled with exciting and engaging charters, witty and fun dialog, heart racing twists, thrilling turns and so much passion. Was an edge of your seat, highly entertaining read from beginning to end.

You are rooting for them to get together from the get go. The chemistry between them is smoking HOT. Will make you sweat. it was an excellent read cant wait for book 2

Helen Hardt brings us The Temptation Saga starting with Zach and Dusty. Their families grew up together in Colorado and Dusty's family decides to move to Montana to be near her mom's family once it was known that her mom no longer needed to be near the hospital since the doctors could not longer help them. We meet them again seventeen years later when Dusty and her brother Sam are back in Denver for the rodeo and run into the McCray brothers. Dusty is determined to ride their bull Diablo to win the purse that would help their family and their ranch. Unfortunately, Diablo is owned by Zach who refuses to let Dusty try to ride him for the money. Seeing Dusty again ignites something in Zach, but Dusty is reluctant to let things happen despite the pull toward him.

Helen allows us to go on this journey with Zach and Dusty as they dance around each other. We see the pursuit and the conflict of feelings. We see them battle with themselves as the attraction blooms. Will Dusty be able to share her inner thoughts with Zach? Will Zach win Dusty over and find the happiness they both deserve?

I thoroughly enjoyed this story as you get swept into their relationship wanting to keep reading until they get it right. I am looking forward to the next installment of this series. Dusty is a young woman who has been through so much in her 23 years. Her mother died when she was young and her father died when she was a teenager. Since then it has been Dusty and her brother Sam. They are at a national rodeo when they run into some friends from before they moved to Montana. The McCrays owned the land where they lived and their dad worked. Zach is the second oldest and used to pick on Dusty. He would tell her that his blue eye could turn her brain to mush. Now that they are older Dusty has cone to realize that Zach’s eyes, one blue and one brown, are beautiful.
When Dusty tells Zach she wants to ride his bull Diablo he is against it but he says they can spend time together so she c an try to convince him to change his mind. Their feelings change and grow as they spend time together.

This is another of the addictive stories that Helen Hardt consistently produces. Her work is always well written with solid story lines, great characters, drama, mystery, angst and passionate burning hot chemistry. This is another example of why she is such a talent. Definitely a 5 star read.

If you like handsome, wealthy cowboys, then you are in for a treat. I can’t wait for the next book in this series. Some of the characters you will want to pull down on a bale of hay and others will make you want to have a talk outside.

I loved this story. The O'Donovan and McCray kids were childhood friends on the McCray ranch, McCray Landing in Colorado, until Mollie O'Donovan gave up her fight against leukemia and wanted to go back to Montana to die. Seventeen years later, they meet again at a Denver rodeo. Sam and Chad pick up their friendship as if no time has passed, and Zak is mesmerized by the woman that little Dusty has become. She is now a barrel racer and Bull Whisperer and Sam a Bronc buster. They need to win their competitions to save their ranch and Dusty wants to win the purse on riding Zak's bull, El Diablo. Zak has no intention of letting her ride him, but is willing to humor her by letting her near him, just so he can spend time with her. She wants to spend time with him too, but she has a secret, which most intuitive writer quickly surmise, that keeps her pushing him away. There is also a jealous ex and a jealous sibling that also try to keep them apart. Well written with relatable characters and snappy banter.

Tempting Dusty is a quick hot read. I loved this one. Childhood friends reunite and boy do the sparks fly between Dusty and Zach. You feel for Dusty the entire read. You hold her in your heart once you learn what she is hiding. Zach is wonderful and will make you swoon. You just feel that pull between them that you know isn't going to give. Zach and Dusty are hot together. I couldn't get enough of them. I can't wait for what I to come next in the Temptation Saga.

Just like all the other books I've read from Helen Hardt ( and there have been ,many books) these books just suck you in upon reading the first word and don't let you go till the final word.
This book is full of love. A feisty young girl with a devastating secret. A hot wealthy cowboy. Friendship that tests time. A devastating past. And much more important love.

Easy read. Predictable story, although it was fun to get through the story. The history between the two characters was a good addition.

Tempting Dusty is the beginning of the Temptation Series by Helen Hardt. Helen Hardt is a wonderful author who weaves a tale that will capture you from the first page to the end of the book. Cowboys are a favorite genre for me to read. This book brings out a multitude of emotions and is a romance for all to love. I highly recommend this book to all.

After reading this the song "Cowboy Take Me Away" by The Dixie Chicks comes to mind, Zach can take me away. Dusty is one strong woman, animal lover, and bull whispered she made me fall when she fall, cry when she cried, and loved when she loved. This childhood friends to lover was epically beautiful heart worthy. I never thought I would fall for a cowboy kinda of love story but with Helens words I fell and I fell hard. Can't wait to read Dallas story next.

I loved this book. Dusty and Zach had known each other as children when her dad had worked on Zach's family ranch. He had teased her as she was a little tomboy. Fast forward alot of years and they run into each other at a stock show and rodeo. Dusty and her brother had a small almost bankrupt ranch in Montana and Zach was rich. They were attracted to each other but Dusty kept putting him off. He didn't find out the real reason until close to the end of the book. But the read was well worth waiting for.
