Perfect read for when you need just a little something to get you through. Many little stories no more than a few pages each and they all make you stop and think.

This is a treasure trove of delightful reflective thought provoking stories, of moments caught and contemplated, of signs of God's grace. There are no easy answers but a lot of very good questions about God, humans and our relationships. Short stories each an extended poem which bring our human stories into articulation with the Big Story, Gods story,, and stories matter "...if you do not catch and share stories that matter you will have nothing but lies and sales pitches all your life." I love the authors humility in sharing the odd questions he has been asked at book readings and signings and his honest in expressing his feelings. His descriptions are glowing, luminous, concise and joyful.
A rare book which made me both laugh and cry, I will be buying my very own copy to keep and re-read when life gets tough.

The author is a good writer, however this was just a number of essays on his life and thoughts. If I knew him I probably would find them interesting, but sense I don't I just couldn't get into them. I thought it was going to be other peoples stories.
I received this book free from the publisher for the purpose of review.
