This one fell flat for me.

Sorry for the delayed review. I have been working this year to catch up on my netgalley backlog. I appreciate the opportunity to read this story.

Misadventures with a Super Hero by Angel Payne is a good fit for those seeking a lighthearted, fast-paced romance featuring a nerdy hero and a strong-willed heroine, with a focus on their banter-filled relationship and steamy chemistry.

Incredible book I loved every minute of it. This book has amazing characters and the story was so great I loved everything about this story.

I loved beyond words the Misadventures series! The banter & chemistry was off the charts!!! I laughed so much while reading Misadventures With A Superhero!

I would like to say that I am in the minority with this whole Misadventures series. I haven't been able to connect with a single character and that makes me sad.

It's a classic case of "it's not you, it's me" and I totally own that.

Another great book in the misadventures series. If you are a fan of the series, continue on with this book as well. I'm new to Angel Payne's work but I will continue on to her other works. Even if you aren't a big comic book fan, you will enjoy this book. The plot and the characters all worked really well together.

The books in the Misadventures series are supposed to be stand-alone, but this one is the prequel(?) to a series that has 15 parts and it's about the main characters of this book, so I am left wondering if one should even bother with this book. Who doesn't want to follow a couple's story when they know that more books exist? Well, the ones who won't like this book won't bother with the rest, but if you like the story, you might wanna read the other books and they are a lot.

I won't be reading them though since I was not a fan of this one. I found it very over the top and I did ask myself WTF a couple of times. It was over the top even when I take into consideration that we are talking about a superhero. The main characters and the plot didn't work for me and I couldn't connect with them. I don't think that this is the kind of book that everyone will enjoy and it's a hit or miss. Read at your own risk.

I love Angel Payne and most of what she writes but this book kinda flopped for me. However in my defense i dont particularly care for superhero/sci-fi ish books. The writing was good but I didn't like the actual story. The characters were pretty good. This is also the first installment into a whole series that i probably wont continue reading.

But there’s something that just may interfere with all those plans. My heart.
This story had a different premise to the contemporary genre so I thought I’d give it a read. Unfortunately it just didn’t really work for me. I had a hard time with the overall story and the believability of the relationship.

I liked it. It wasn’t my favorite of the series, but it was a good read and I enjoyed the writing!

Wow I really wasn't expecting that but I really, really liked it. This book is a full turn on. Hot, fan yourself chemistry between Reece and Emma. They both feel an instant attraction and she wakes in him a desire to live and be good. To care about anyone other than himself. Both of them together is like a force field of energy waiting to explode. It will make you want to have an intimate encounter with a super hero too.

Bolt - the Super Hero. I really wasn't expecting the Super Hero to be an actual Superhero - like Batman - type of Super Hero. Having called my own love interest Superhero I was expecting him to be the regular Joe but one in which saves the damsel in distress. However, after I got over the initial reaction to this I was able to read this one in one sitting. There is a love story that blooms when he saves the said damsel in distress, Emma. Fame, fortune, misadventures and love. What's not to love about that kind of story?!

OH MY GOODNESS THIS BOOK!!!!!

I cannot get enough of Bolt. or I should say Reece haha. He is by far one of my favorite book heroes (In more ways than one haha) And was such a fun surprise for me as a reader. Not because he like personally was like surprise character or something. But because I was so surprised on how much I adored him. I figured I would like him plenty. But then the more we get of the nerdy guy. The more I swoon haha

And honestly it wasn't just Reece I liked. I really enjoyed Emma too. She was so spunky and fun.

And the plot! OMG. I loved this story so much. It was a sexy whirl wind of excitement. And I didn't.., or well couldn't if we want to get technical, put it down. It just drew me in so much. And I HAD to know what was going to happen next. And once a book can do that to me, it gets nothing less than 5 stars haha. And I get a whole lot of 0 sleeps haha

But as a whole this book was a great introduction for me not only into the world of the Misadventures books. But also to Angel Pane. And now I can't wait to see what she has for us next. (Yes I know there's more Bolt. I am just incredibly late getting this review up here)

I have read all of the Misadventures books so of course I needed to read this one. I have also been wanting to read Angel Payne. I have heard amazing things about her writing. But to be honest with you, this one was not the book for me at all. I am not sure what it was, but I was not loving the characters or the plot. This does not mean that I will not read Angel Payne again. I have hope that she will surprise me! This was just not the book to do that with.

A great book! Didn’t want to stop reading to enter back into that pesky real world. Great characters and storyline. Would recommend.

Reece is a superhero who hates who he is and prays for death until he meets Emmalina. He must now fight for his life and hers. Great sex scenes and you will be rooting for them.

Another great Misadventures book. Once I started it I could not put it down. Once I started it didn’t realize it was actually about a superhero and a love story. It is a must read.

This was outside my normal genre, but it was a cute story.

It is amazingly written. The story is sexy, sweet and amazing.
It can be read as a standalone (but so far I love them all)

Loving the MISADVENTURE series
So GOOD. Wasn't sure what to expect being as this is my first read from this author and a super hero one at that.
Reece is known as a rich playboy. Emma is goal oriented. When these two meet there is a BOLT,.

HOT sexy explosive yet laugh out read
